Gotta do without for awhile

Hi all, new poster here. I’ve been using weed to medicate my insomnia for a couple years now, usually just a joint of Skywalker an hour before bed, at least six days a week. I’m traveling out of the country for a couple months and plan to do without medication for the duration. I have a background in psychology, been reading lots of research about marijuana withdrawal syndrome. Based on the research it looks like I’m in for a couple weeks of (and I quote) irritability, anxiety, decreased appetite, restlessness, and sleep difficulties (ugh), but after that I should be out of the woods. Have you been in situations like this before, like having to go without medication for an extended period of time? What happened? How long did the withdrawal last, if it happened at all? Thanks in advance!

Last time I quit weed I started smoking meth. Three week in I was selling my ass for rocks. Used to wear a shirt that said rocks for servicing cocks. It was all downhill from there. Before I knew it I was eating truckers buttholes for a hit. It's a slippery slope, I suggest you never quit smoking weed.

I can wash it clean for you.
Or if you want i can leave it extra dirty for you? Just the you used to love me.
XOXO
Sorry, I stopped being gay several weeks ago. Woke up in a park clasping on to two strangers cocks and realized that this life wasn't for me. If I ever get dementia and forget that I'm not gay anymore I'll hit you up.

It's why sheep are better, no top set of teeth and no gag reflex
Its just the "baaaaaaaaaah, baaaah, nnngaaaaah"
I cant stand. Its such a racket.
Especially doing sheep from behind man.
Geez you're right though. They don't kick, or bite nearly as hard.
They're a bit tighter too.

Some deja-vu payback for ya. ;)

Doesn't seem to bother me to go without for days so can't help you much with what symptoms to expect. I've been a regular user since my early teens so 50 years now and never noticed anything.

Now, if I don't get my coffee in the morning, there's gonna be problems! :)

I hear ya there.

I don't have a problem with caffeine but everyone else does if I'm without it.

Bro im the same. I have to have my coffee. Or some poor bastard's gonna pay :fire:

TBH, I grew up with huge anxiety issues when i was a kid.
I started smoking pot when i was 19.
It relieved my anxiety. No paranoia, no fidgeting, or racing thoughts.
It obviously has its downside. Motivation can be tough sometimes.
But holy shit. It helps me with anxiety.
Anxiety is almost, a thing of the past for me.
Thats the honest truth. :peace:

I think it depends a hell of a lot, on the individual.
There really is gonna be some, extremely beneficial psychoactive properties harnessed in the future, for mentally ill patients.
I just know it. Im living proof.

You were a late bloomer then. I got sent to a "Free School" in downtown Vancouver when I was 13 and got into pot then. A week later dropping a horse cap of Purple Haze and tripping around Stanley Park all day with my new older hippy friends from
school. That was 1967/68.

I've had constant chronic depression since an near fatal hammer attack 40 years ago but luckily don't suffer anxiety unless I hit too much of a strong sativa like Kali Mist. The years of sleep paralysis was enough anxiety for me. :)

Still love the sativas for a quick mood boost when the dark clouds roll in but finding higher CBD/sativa cocobudder great for all day relief from both the depression and my arthritis with a big dose in the evenings. Going to cross my Kali/NL with my Otto#1 girl and see how that goes.
