Green BUT droopy leaves

How do you help a plant that’s green but has droopy leaves like the photo attached? Plants are under 750W and room temp is ~75 degrees. Photo was taken shortly after an ebb & flow cycle so I’m thinking maybe just wait and let the cube start to dry out since the leaves don’t seem to show any deficiencies? Thoughts???

Background: Seedlings started in a rock wool plug that was later transplanted into a 4x4 Grodan cube until roots started to pop out at the bottom. At this time the 4x4 ended up being dropped into a 25G bucket filled with mini rock wool cubes with the though that the whole bucket will eventually be roots.

What kind of light is that? Why green? The right one looks a little droopy but I wouldn't be concerned. Let it go. If you want just start another. Are those bottom leaves a little yellow, hard to tell with that light.

It's a 1,000W MH Hortilux bulb but its running on a solistek digital ballast only cranked up to 750W at the moment...There is a lil yellow on the tips of the leaves at the bottom you are correct! I lifted them up & found that they were super light so it must've been an under-watering issue...strange thing is though that even the 4" cubes are drying up just as fast as the mini cubes that are surrounding it....Should I just increase the # of ebb & flow cycles or do you think stacking the 4" cube on top of an 8" big mama grodan block surrounded by the mini cubes will help to retain moisture longer?

Increase the number of floods.

Increase the number of floods.
I think you're right ! I gave them 2/3 ebb & flood cycles manually the other day and the leaves seemed to pick up more & more w. each flood. That being said I put it on an Apollo 9 timer for 3 floods 7 min a piece. 18/6 light cycle is 12PM ON / 6 AM OFF.

Advice I've seen around online says to flood after the first 30/Min after the lights turn on and 2 hours before the light turns off? I have the (2) E&F cycles set on those times and the 3rd E&F is at 8Pm that's about mid-way between the first & last E&F cycle.

Still thinking I should maybe stack the 4" onto a 10" so more water is retained after flood cycles...

when y'all r saying flooding ,, does that mean ,, right into the wet pot,, cause i'm wondering,, should the seedling ,, once there a couple leaves show ,,that i should just put it into the medium balls n just keep the nutrient solution level just under the pot ,, with a air stone in the bottom

What you’re referring to sounds like more of a DWC (Deep water culture) type of set up where the roots are constantly submerged above an air stone...What we’re referring to is an ebb & flow set up where the rockwool/roots are submerged only for a certain time period (usually only like 10min or so) to give the roots some nutrient uptake before the water pump shuts off and the water is drained bringing O2 back into the rockwool/roots

But yes you’re on the right track by keeping the water level right below the pot and as the roots grow you can bring the water level down another inch or so

DWC Set ups I’ve seen on YouTube have a water level indicator on the outside of their buckets installed to give you an accurate reading instead of having to lift up the net pot your plant is sitting in. Watch this video to get an idea of what I mean ->
