looked online and couldn't find much info on this strain so i have decided to do my own smoke report. this is my first smoke report so lemme know if i miss anything.

Strain - Ghs, jack herer, (Haze X Red Skunk)
Grown - leds, ffof, bio thrive nutes.
Time - 8 to 9 weeks of flower time. about 3 weeks veg from seed.
Grown style - topped during veg and ended up with short bushy plants.
Yield - Average
Cured - 3 months
Smell - very very fruity rainforest smell.
Smoke - very smooth.
Taste - haze taste
bag appeal - buds nice and dense covered with trics

The smoke is smooth but very strong, it is more on the sativa side and hits your body right away. I smoked a small joint and was good for 3 hours. Overall i am very happy with the result and will keep this strain as one of my favorites.

I bought 5 GHS Jack Herer feminized seeds, only two popped, one died and the other one nearly died, managed to save it. I topped it intending to clone but decided to get some other seeds at the last minute and grew the JH with three Kush plants. Grown using DWC, Ferro Feeds and I used Plant Magic Evolution for the veg period. I didn't veg the Kush long enough and put the four plants in flower. The Kush went to nine weeks and to be honest didn't perform well. The JH went to 13 weeks and if I was honest could have gone a couple of weeks longer. The phenotype I got was sativa dominant if you looked at the leaves, very long and slender but the plant was very short, no more than 120cm. The buds were heavy and I had to tie the outer colas back to the support I grew it in. Very red haired when they changed colour and a sweet citrus smell when it was flowering. Dry weight from one plant was 250g, I was pleasantly shocked after I had read the reviews. Didn't really share it about, I grow for myself in a place you tell no one what you are doing, but the smoke was strong and very heady, very active, threw a few whities on it. When it had all gone, I had a £2 pound coin / half dollar amount of seeds in my palm, I checked the plant throughout and did not see any hermies, but from 250g only a few. I kept the best looking seeds and tested the not so good one to see if they will pop, and they all did. This year I decided to try the seeds and threw a dozen in a glass of water and they all popped, when I vegged them I had to choose the best and throw the rest, not an easy thing to do, but when the summer comes it's too hot to grow. They have all grown like the original, same long thin leaves and sweet orangy smell in the tent. I am nearly at the end of week 12 and they stopped growing ages ago, at 120 cm to the top of the main cola. Two suffered from nute burn and are not as big as the third one, here is the main cola of the big one:

I've just changed the water to no feed 5.5 pH and will see how long it takes to finish, I'm guessing after the last time another week and half to three weeks, but I am watching the weather get warmer which means I pull then with time to dry, but looking forward to getting this one in the bong. I'll cure it for 4 weeks in jars but I will make the trimmings into full melt. I still have a load of seeds left so this will be grown again, next time I will attempt a SCROG.

Sensi's jack herer is not even close to what it was 15 to 20yrs ago. Purchased and ran two packs of it about 5yrs back, plants resembled the originals but lacked the heavy frost jack is famous for. Aroma was the close to the original, but potency was weak. Also had a similar experience with sensi nl5 haze, pretty disappointing.

Never ran the greenhouse version, but 20k jack from cannarado (s1 10k jack clone) was decent and much like sensi's original with less variation. Don't know if it's still available.

@K&A kid I'm growing out the 20k Jack for the first run currently, in week 3 of flower. I got lucky and got it at an auction for a good price, around $120. I was curious what kind of phenotypes did you find with it? I have one that has a fantastic sweet lime smell

I grew those out about 6 or 7 yrs ago, I’m surprised that any are still available, pretty cool you were still able to land a pack.
I’m a little fuzzy on the specifics as it’s been a while , I did pick one out of a pack though and kept it around for couple years.
From what I remember 20k was a medium size stocky version of jack, not the stretchy haze types that showed up frequently in the sensi originals. There really wasn’t a lot of variation in the structure however some yielded better than others and there were differences in nose depending on the plant.

The plant I kept wasn’t the biggest yielder, but had great resin production and a candy haze type smell mixed with a combination of ammonia, wood and incense. The longer it flowered the ammonia smells increased. Buzz was pretty balanced, decent daytime smoke. They recommend 9wks but it was better when pushed to 10, which is still pretty early for these.

Thank you very much for the answer!

I'm happy to have the seeds for sure. I'm only on week 4, but the 20k Jack seems to be an awesome plant in general and example of Jack.

The 2 plants I'm growing right now did stretch a good amount. One has more of the haze like scents like wood, incense and ammonia. The other is much more citrus, it has an awesome sweet lime thing going on. Similar to green skittles or starburst.

I vaped a calyx bowl yesterday and love the effects and taste. :bigjoint:

Thanks for the reccomendation on flowering time as well! I'm only on my 2nd ever indoor grow and my first was bug infested. Luckily this grow I'm more educated, and on top of things more.

Appreciate the advice and information a ton! :)

Greenhouse Seeds are hit and miss, I have their JAck HErer sampler pack (3 seeds) and am betting only one will pop whenever I get to it. As far as Sensi Seeds go.. no way your getting them here in the States unless your grabbing them from Spain in plain packaging material.

If you ever run into bugs again I've allowed web-spinning spiders to do their thing, the good thing is they eliminate the bugs completely....the bad is getting all the webbing off the plants at harvest lol

I was doing good until I dropped some straw mulch (that was sitting in the garage) in my pots. Who knew Fungus Gnats have a thing for straw... man oh man.. getting close to dropping some napalm in there soon.
