I have done it both ways. Of course strain dependant... But Ive found that they grow jus a tad better doing less ppm and feed every watering. Ive been using Mega-Crop for awhile now.

I feed for 21 days and flush. Repeat. Until final flush during flower. If you flush before harvest. But what you'e doing seems to rockn too....

I've thought about just lowering the dose to see if it works seeing that with Autos less is more it seems to try and find that happy medium

I switched from Jacks to Greenleaf almost 2 weeks ago. Current setup is hydroponic dutch bucket hybrid using coolers. Hydroton is the medium. I notice the plants look much fuller and healthier and the roots are exploding...I gravity feed from a 55 gallon drum to (veg) 1- 25gal cooler that pump feeds 14- 5gal coolers, (flower) 1- 25gal cooler that feeds 7- 10gallon coolers and 4- 5 gallon coolers. Total gallons +/- 125 gallons. I mix the solution at the minimum in the 55 and adjust to each location at its 25 gal res. Things are lovely so far. The only advantage I see of Jacks over Greenleaf is the pH buffering. It's a little more work to keep things stable with the green leaf vs jacks. The growth is astounding and jacks is going on the back burner for now. I hope this helps someone make an informed decision. Ps, I have the dehumidifier pumping into the 55 as well as a float valve from the fresh water (with hydro filter) these two keep the 55 topped off at all times.

    thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, from what we are hearing from some customers, in the first 24 hours or so, there can be some pH fluxauation and some changes. Its a lot harder to get the immediate pH stability compared to Jacks, because Jacks is just a pure salt formula and very straightforward, but with MEGA CROP there are a lot of separate organic elements which can be slightly unpredictable for the first day or so time period.

Nice rig man. Using those coolers like that. I use to have them for camping with my family. I'e thought about using one for hydro like that. You can use the fill spout to drain. Great setup.

It's just another thing to check. It's not overwhelming. A couple drops here, a couple there.

These 2 just got their first feeding today of MEGA CROP. Each in fox farm soil 5 gallon pots. Gave them each 1 gallon with 4.5 grams of MEGA CROP. Also have some in 1 gallons and some in solo cups that got 2 grams of MEGA CROP per gallon.

Replacement made it. Box was pretty rough around the edges though. Looked like the PO had to tape up a corner too. A little more durable boxing may be in order when dealing with the post office, it seems.
Given the shape of the this box and the mailer the sample came in, I highly doubt the original order will ever turn up.

Been feeding some stuff with the sample you sent out though. So far so good.
May get some Grasscity folks stopping by...

Look at the foot stomp plant LOL I stepped on her and just Knew she was a goner little MEGA CROP and she's slowly coming back

I've always mixed my solution at least 24hrs in advance of filling the res. Its easier to check ph fluctuations that way.

I started testing megacrop about a month ago. Now my setup is a bit different than most. I'm growing this crop in auto pots. The auto pots have my organic soil mix in them from the last grow. I decided I wanted to test the idea of not replacing/recycling the soil any more. I cut out the stumps and planted the new crop in the holes. I filled the res with a solution of megacrop @ 700ppms and ph'd to 6.5. I'm running COB lighting in the 4x4 tent. The water I use for the solution is RO water with 120 ppms of cal/mag added.

And I have to say, this is the first ever nutrient to impress me, and I don't impress easily lol! So far, I've had no nutrient related issues, my plants look great and are growing like crazy! The current strain are test seeds I'm growing for a major seed company. These may become a release strain eventually. So I just gave them a name, chazy Ice. They appear to be a mostly Indica cross. I'm sure looking forward to harvest! I'm also feeding some breeders I'm growing in a cab in 4" pots that hold about a cup of soil..... and they look great also!
