grow room set up

hey guys am a total Newbie at growing.i have this project am putting together and am looking for help setting it up.thanks in Advance!!:weed:
strains-4different photoperiods from Humboldt seeds

Room size -8*12

plants bet -20-30

Pot sizes -7g fabric pots or 5 ??

Lights - (4) 1000w de cmh for veg and hps for flower.. or (4) 600w

Grow style —scrogg

Medium - soil (nector for the gods #4)

Nutrients- nector for the gods..

Would highly appreciate the help and please no rude comments cheers and happy growing :leaf:..ps I know this Question depends on different aspects with this type of set up and say everything goes well what kind of yield am looking at? Again thanks for any help

i have made the mistake in the past on getting a cheap one. it might be ok for veg but once your plants are in flower they will not work

i use something called a can-filter that is decent but the best i know of and read about is phresh carbon filter

no one can tell you how much you will yield
if its your 1st time growing just be happy if you make it to full flower with not allot of problems and improve your next grow

i dont know enough about lights to make a knowledgeable comment but. id use more watts in flower then in veg

1000 watt hps covers about 4x4 area in flower

1000 watt double ended hps covers about a 5x5 area in flower, but runs a bit hotter

600 watt covers about a 3x3 area in flower

np bro sorry for spaces in between answers im just trying to think about plant count but because i do tables, its a bit different.

I like about 26 in a 4x4 and closer to 60 in a 4x8
so i mean you could probably fit a shit ton in there

if it were me i would just do 2 4x8 tables or maybe 5 4x4 tables
but im lazy so ebb and flow is the way to go for me lol
7 gal pots you can probably fit 6 rows of 9 plants.... i think
it really all depends in the end about how much space you use for plants and how much you need to keep for moving around and what not

besides the 8*12 grow area I still have space to move around.. wats your best advice‍ ‍for me had people tell me that’s too much for a newbie but hey I like challenges .go hard or go Home I live by the code all day and hey thanks a lot for taking your time to explaining this to me

Personally think it’s a lot of plants for your first time but not impossible to pull off just you will be chucking aload of cash at that kinda op first and for most make sure it’s safe and there’s no risk of fire electrocution shit like that then my fingers are crossed for you and prays going out to the weed gods !

it is a lot of work watering 50 plants, thats for sure.
you will need a res or you will need to fill and mix 50 5 gal pails to water all those girls
and if you buy the res you might as well set up an auto watering system because doing anything 50 times in a row sucks

and now that you are there, you might as well not by the pots and invest that money in tables and clay lol

my best advice is set up an ebb and flow table with a scrog net and save yourself a shit ton of work.. if you can afford to anyway

otherwise make it as automatic as you can because carrying buckets will get old by week 2 of flower at the latest

pay attention to this
map your circuits and breakers and make sure you know how much power is flowing through your wires

dont burn your shit down over a bit of weed

Have a profesional electrician going to do the wiring Not taking any chances..am going to cross my fingers like you said and go head on with this project ..thanks for the advice
