i guess it depends on what you get for flower. A 4% return on rosin would make 1# 4800$. (wholesale) if you get more for your dried flower, hats off.
How many #'s of flower @ 22 does it take to make one # rosin @ 4% ?
Love smoking it, have BHO +Rosin in stock, utiliziation of small buds n flarf though as well as keefe.
Idk , to each his own!

1# wet with a return @ 4% would yeild 96 grams of rosin. So you would need like 12,000 grams of wet to make 1# of rosin

edit. when i say 1# wet. i mean 2400 grams of fresh flower. which would equate to the 1# dry

You dont make live rosin from dry smokable material. That is just regular rosin. Those returns are like 25% but the product is not as good and darker in color. Live rosin is blonde and only made from fresh flower.

Ok, sounds better but still, how many dry pounds does that equal even if you do it wet.
Whats it equate to ?
12,000 grams wet with a 4% return to get a pound of live rosin (4% dead on would actually get you 480 grams).

According to Snob's numbers this would be 2,268 grams dry weight or just about 5 pounds.

You said you were getting about $2,200 per pound for your flower right?

generally, you dont get pounds of live rosin. I was saying if you took 2400 grams wet. and make rosin to get 96 grams back. those 96 grams are worth 4800. Or you can dry the same 2400 grams and get 1 pound of dry weed. which right sells here for 2800. So essentially you are getting 2k more for the live rosin. But this is only IF you get a good % on the return

That would be contingent on the size of the harvest and how much you wanted to convert into rosin. If you mean using grams as the go-to unit of measurement, absolutely I agree. I was just trying to help Hybridway2 wrap his head around the math to answer his earlier question.
