Unsure yet what grow method I will be using this grow, either five plant vertical or eight plant horizontal . Will determine method after selecting the plants from the overall selection.
5 - G13 Haze, 4 - BlueBerry and 4 - Original Skunk #1

how about the breeders for each of the 3 strains, por favor!
Ahhhh yes, I can do that!
G13 Haze Barneys Farm
BlueBerry and Skunk #1 were freebies, the breeder is Seedsman. I have grown a Seedsman strain before, Super Citrus Haze, big producer, great flavor and aroma, anda very decent long lasting high.
Believe that was the Fall 16/Spring 17 grow.

Thanks for stopping by buddy!

Looks like, discounting any future problems, we are going to get 11 of 13 spouted.
3 of 4 - Original Skunk #1
3 of 4 - BlueBerry
5 of 5 - G13 Haze
These were started in water on Tues. evening and planted Thur. afternoon.
Got some seed caps wanting to stay with the plant, will give a another day or so and remove manually is necessary.

Would like to get them into 2 gallon Smart Pots this week, but only the ones that are ready. A couple of the G 13's aren't.

Today is the 17th day since sprout, so thought I would go ahead and transplant.
Going into 2 gallon Smart Pots from the 9 ounce cocktail glasses. First filled each pot with weighed coco/perlite, 70/30, then flush with CaliMagic and Epsom to make sure the coco is charged. I then made a solution of lite nutes, CaliMagic, Epsom, Rhizotonic, Cannazym, Rapid Start and Great White.
Here is the SP filled and a cup was place to create the hole, 20190818_130616 (2).jpg

Good roots on most plants, a couple have weak roots.20190818_130703 (2).jpg

Here is one planted.20190818_130810 (2).jpg

Here is one that has weak roots, will hand water those with rooting probs for a bit.20190818_131017 (2).jpg
Here they are back in the tent.

Had some Cal/Mag issues early on, but that has been corrected.
The two plants to the right of the center row are the two with root issues, as stated will be on a different water schedule until the root system develops.

Transplanted on Saturday and put them under a 6 bulb T5, so today the 315 was installed in the tent.

I have made my decision on the plants I am going to keep this grow.
Giving my assistant, too pic up tomorrow, one each of the three strains, a G13 Haze, Original Skunk and BlueBerry. I am going to do an 8 plant horizontal grow, so 4 - G13 Haze, two Original Skunk and two BlueBerry.

Worked on the irrigation system, set up the rez, installed the pump to manifold and ran the hose into the tent. Once inside I attached the hose to the 8 port Orbit Manifold and put on the emitters.
20190821_212914 (2).jpg

Hand watering the front three plants, the ones for my assistant, and the others are on the system.
20190821_195410.jpg

Did not get a pic tonight but this is a pic of the emitters I am using with this setup. This pic is from my Cheese grow last fall.
20181005_095120.jpg

Just love the coverage. Hard to get good even saturation in coco with a drip emitter, this bitch is the queen. Best I have used to date.
Tested the system with a 5 gallon bucket with my nute solution and it worked just great, just needs the emitters tweaked a bit. Tomorrow will fill the rez and begin daily to twice daily waterings, this is all base on root development. Not happy until I see the root penetrating the Smart Pots.

Plants have reached that growth stage where it is time to top and start some clones. My assistant will be growing 8 plants so these clones are for him.
The roots are protruding from the Smart Pots.
20190826_153657.jpg
There is good healthy growth.
20190826_153709.jpg

Waited for 7 nodes and topped to the 4th node, trimmed and put into my DIY EZ Cloner.
20190826_160932 (2).jpg

Back in the tent, and got a heavy hand watering with nutes and Great White, 30% runoff at minimum.

My assistant will pick up three of his plants tomorrow and he will get 5 of the clones. Will be
spreading the other 8 plants in the tent.

So this morning I pulled the plants and did the first trim and tie down, removed bottom growth and some fan. Tied the branches down to the pot.

Here they are trimmed, tied and back in the tent.

The 11 new clones clones placed in the DIY EZ Cloner. The clones taken on Monday are doing well, see a few bumps on the stems, start of the roots.

Today I am getting the ladies ready for flip. Major trim and tie down, will give them about a week and look to flip around then.

After minor trim and tie down on 8/29.
20190829_102011 (2).jpg

Yesterday 10/1 nice recovery for only 4 days.
20190901_091430 (2).jpg

Today after major trim and tie down.
20190902_124136 (2).jpg

If I get the recovery response I got from the last Thur's trim I will consider flipping next week or we may do another series of toppings. So many decisions so little time! :)

Day 8 of 12/12

Beginning to stretch, put the screen on but decided to wait until the 21st day of flower when I will do a major trim, then I will put the screen on and move the plants as necessary.

Update: Day 12 !2/12

Been a busy week. Although I normally would not do this, but I did a fairly heavy trim due to just overgrowth. I would normally wait till the 21st day to do this trim, raise the skirt and start some flowering training.
I did the trim on 9/16 after lights on.
Prior to trim.
20190916_090926.jpg

The next morning after the trim, 9/17
20190917_091540.jpg

Had a friend come by to help me install the screen in the afternoon of 9/17 and when the light came on that evening I did some tucking and bending. Snapped a couple of stems but taped them up and all is good. Look kind of funky after the T&B.
20190917_211756.jpg 20190917_211934.jpg

Here they are this morning 9/19, sprang back to life and doing well.
20190919_085922.jpg 20190919_085935.jpg

A canopy shot this morning.
20190919_085915.jpg

Have been working on stabilizing the pH in my rez. Would like to have to not pH every evening . The pH has been floating from 5.8 +/- to 6.1+/- in just one night. So, I started making up my solution a couple of days ahead of time to add to the rez and that helped, 5.8+/- to 5.95. Have not tried letting it run a second night starting at that 5.95.
I use 21 gallon in my 27 gallon rez I have now set up two 32 gallon containers, one I added nutes on Monday evening Today I dumped it into the rez and will pH it prior to tonight's cycles. The other I filled with RO water yesterday and will add nutes later tonight. That will give the nutes 4 days to stabilize before going into the rez. Again my goal is to get as many days between having to pH the rez as possible.
I spoke with my Hydro guy and he recommended a product, don't remember the name, to treat RO water with prior to adding any nutes, say's some get up to a week without pH'ing.

When I did the trim on Monday evening I placed multiple clones of each pheno of the three strains and put them in water. Yesterday I planted them in a shallow sorghum tub with coco/perlite. About 50 clones in all and hope to get 50% plus to take.
20190918_132737.jpg

Need to supply my assistant with some and my PTSD group will get the rest. I was going to do the spring planting with clones but I would rather do another strain and grow it Vertical.
