I generally don't believe in guilty pleasures when it comes to music. I listen to shit like Belinda Carlisle and Limp Bizkit between underground war metal shit like Blasphemy and Revenge without a second thought.
However, what bands and musicians do you enjoy that you would be afraid to admit you do in mixed company? I can think of one prime example right off the bat...
In today's fascist-dominated political climate, that might be acceptable, but I don't support that shit in the slightest. Pirate Arghoslent's discography if you're morbidly curious. I'm actually a virulent supporter of Antifa. While I may not be out there at the barricades, I'd like to think I'm doing my part by making Karen and boomer reactionaries in the comments sections of local news pages scream themselves into a stroke and hopefully die of butthurt.
But I can't deny that Arghoslent churn out some of the sickest gallopping riffs in all of death metal. So I'll begrudgingly enjoy them, while condemning the band themselves.
So what are some of your musical guilty pleasures?

This band is the ultimate guilty pleasure... they are objectively abhorrent human beings and methed-up cousinfuckers. They're from Virginia, so that explains it. Arghoslent's lyrics that don't white-wash or deny, but glorify white atrocities like the trans-Atlantic slave trade and Holocaust.
