Gummy’s

Switching up on the oil pills and making some gummy’s with some Trainwreck trim/larf . Going to make some bubble hash or may use sissor- hash and also going to try to use coco canna oil. Heard that the lecithin will bind the juice and oil…. Hopefully. Still need to get juice actually :???: . First time making gummy’s so wtf knows the end result. Most likely tonight/tomorrow I’ll give it a go.
- has anyone used lecithin with coco oil?? Does it work?? Thx.501E2EE6-D3CF-4BDF-8072-BB96843EAE2F.jpeg

The lecithin works and helps emulsify the cannabis oil into the coconut oil
Fats readily mix together, the lecithin helps to hold everything in place and some say it helps boost the way you metabolize the coco oil through your liver
Didn't bother adding lecithin to my last coco oil because I forgot to add it in typical stoner fashion

Here is my coconut oil, small jar, the two behind it are cannabis simple syrup
I did not do my insane filtering of the tincture before reducing it into the oil so it has a bit of chlorophyll

Right on , just wanted to hear something like that before I waste time/weed trying to bind those.. I’m picking up the rest of the shit later and will try tonight. Thx for the reply :joint:

Thx, still not as flavorful as I want. Have you used concentrate juice? Also I think the natural gelatin is playing a part in the blandness
No just the package jello. Yes you might just need to change to a sugar jello with more flavor. What’s that beef stuff for? That sounds really weird to mix into gummies. Lol. But hey whatever works ! More than one way to skin a cat!

Was just trying to keep the sugar down so I used that gelatin. It has no taste but for sure is missing the sugar of jello. I’m going to try some concentrate juice and see. I’ve already have quite a bit of canna coco-oil made so I’ve got room to play around.. I’ll get jello for backup. Thx again! :joint:

I recommend using organic corn syrup and heating it up with your juice to the "Softball" stage with a candy thermometer. It will help give it some sweetness and have a firmer texture. Once, you reach the softball stage reduce your heat and add the gelatin, then remove from heat and add your canna oil+lecithin or guar gum.

Thanks! I've been playing with the recipe for a bit but haven't been 100% satisfied with it. With the ingredients above I was trying to stay low on sugar. But yeah those were a bit soft. :joint:

Made another batch with Trainwreck trim/pop. This time I went ahead and used Jello , still has lecithin/gelatin. Used 3/4 cup of the infused oil with a 3oz pack of Lime jello . That made about 90 gummy's. I fckn gave up on dosing. Even with the edible calculator, there's too many variables. I found 1/2-1 cup of infusion per batch using Trim/pop and 1/2 cup if using buds. This batch was overall better than the last but I'm still lacking on the chewiness. Guar or a little corn syrup next go I think. Here's some pics :weed:

After 45 minutes on low pressure cook. Add about 1/2cup oil & back in for another 45min.

Strain w/ cheesecloth over strainer. Press with a large spoon.Put desired amount of infused oil into saucepan w/ other ingredients over low-med heat. Keep constant whisking for about 5-8 min. Use dropper into molds, solidify in fridge. Enjoy!

Question for anyone kind enough to respond.
Why would 26 micron bubble hash infused and decarbed in coconut oil make everything I cook taste like hash?.
The effects are good, but man this fudge tastes horrible!...
Only thing I can think of changing is decarbing hash prior to adding coco oil; as opposed to hours double boiling both combined in the jar.
TY in advance.

Only way I've found is to lower the ratio and then eat more of it

Holy shit. What I want to know is what happens if you take down a handfull of them..
That last green batch is strong. I can feel those after munching 2 opposed to the other batches 4-5. If you live in so-cal come get a handful and see. I'm not trying it :bigjoint:

I lived in Oceanside, Imperial Beach, San Pedro and Hollywood, in that order. I spent a lot of time driving all over San Diego county... but I'm now in New York. As fun as it sounds, I likely wouldn't take you up on it, no offense, but I'm very much a lightweight these days and am more so attracted to the smells and sights of living plants as opposed to ingesting the sacred medicine. A handful would probaby send me to the hospital..

Same here always taste like hash. Gonna try infused with ever clear alcohol next time I make some
So, you'll simply burn off the alcohol before using it for edibles?.
I saw a recipe where the user dumped a straight cup of the golden dragon extract into sugar.
Then he simply spread out the sugar on a baking pan to dry; allowing alcohol to evaporate.
That would open up all sorts of possibilities, teaspoon in the AM coffee.!
