I'm not sure you should be concerned with the yellowing of the bottom leaves as much as the burning of the new foliage at the top... It's hard to tell but it looks like the fertilizer may be a little hot. (Too strong!) If you start them off as seedlings you usually don't need any fertilizer for a couple of weeks... Then start with seedling fertilizer ... Don't switch to regular veg fertilizer until the plants have another week or two of seedling fertilizer. You may have to flush the plant that is yellowing as it may be locking out nutrients...

Hey, welcome to riu, & to growing. I think I agree that you're using too much fertilizer for that 1 little plant. Looks like it's leaves are burnt.

There are lots of forums here about plant problems & nutrients. Read up. Less is more when you're 1st starting out. Diffrent types of pot will like more nutrients than others. Try using 1/2 the recommended dose, until you get used to growing.

Unfortunately, reading & following directions can't prepare you for actual experience. There's a million things that can & will affect how well your plants come out. Don't count yer buds b4 they're harvested.

Good luck.

Don't know. Usually when I plant a seed, even after germination, it takes a couple days to come up.

I use black gold for seeds/seedlings. No nutes, just plain water. & I dampen the soil... not soak it. & keep my newly planted seeds at room temp. Not too hot, not too cold.
