Harvest time?

Thanks everyone!

With all due respect to the op. I say the multiple problems with this plant is nitrogen toxicity, probably overwatering and overfertilizing in general. There may be other stresses but not harvesting at peak thc production is not the biggest problem. If you think this is how a plant should look at harvest time, i urge you to look around a little bit more to see better journals and photos so that you can be inspired to grow healthier plants.

And for the op, i get that this is one of your early steps into growing cannabis and i mean no disrespect to you or your grow. We have all been there. Overfertilizing, keeping lights too close or overwatering. Thats perfectly normal and this comment is not directed at your growing abilities or your grow. Its more of a push for him in the right direction.
I really haven't fed this one much and I haven't fed it in about 2 weeks, I started feeding at the beginning of flower and it got burnt tips really quickly so I just stopped. My other plant is fine and I feed it once a week! I appreciate the push! I know I have a lot to learn and this is what I'm looking for! I started with just tiger bloom, 1 tsp per gallon, then got some beastie bloomz and that's when she burnt

If you are close to harvest id try to flush all my nutrients out with proper ph water to have smooth buds. I read that you should flush at week 6 of flowering to remove all the bad tasteing shit. Id like to see someone elses opinion of this to make sure im correct

Hey thundercat have you ever grown the strain pink kush?
Sorry I have not

Is it better to go of trichome colour with a jewellery miroscope or pistol colour
You need to judge harvest time by the whole plant and the signs it gives you, not just one metric. There are very typical maturation patterns that plants follow. Stigma turning color and receeding back towards the buds is just the FIRST sign. Then Bracts swelling and finally trichomes. Look for all the signs for the best smoke.

You really should stop giving other people advice. You clearly lack the understanding of the biology of these plants to be advising others in any way. I'm not trying to be harsh, but its people like your self that spred bro science nonsense around to other new growers that don't know the difference either.

YOU CAN NOT FLUSH NUTRIENTS OUT OF YOUR PLANT!!! You can starve your plant until it turns yellow and dies, but that won't give you better buds or cleaner smoke.

Feed your plants gently in the first place so they grow green and healthy, and then dry the buds properly and you will have tasty smooth smoke.

Initially the plant looks done but up closer its got some time left if you can and it keeos its health.

Could cut now but yer it wont be as good but weeds weed idk your life goals here, id push for longer.

If the plants are grown well never overfertilized you can feed to the end dont sweat it.

I think i see the odd seed, could just be me though as photos are never that clear.

You know not all plants are the same. Thats why its good to take clones and grow a strain couple of times to know if you have something special or not. Especially at the beginning.

I had the same experience in my grows. Sometimes, some plants finishes just ok. Nothing special. But you realize you haven’t let it go long enough or haven’t fed enough or you realize you fed too much. Next time, you correct it and the result; total fire. Its really a good idea to get couple of strains and grow them exclusively from clones for that reason.

I don’t know much about nutrients i use living organic soil but that doesn’t seem much. Tho again some plants are just sensitive and they burn.

I try not to be harsh man, but you are just clearly in inexperienced grower, so you shouldn't be advising other inexperienced people. Its nothing personal, noobs shouldn't advise noobs any more then blind people should lead blind people.

So since I haven't fed in a couple weeks could i still feed a little tiger bloom?? IveI been so nervous about burning it more all she's had is water
You have to judge on the plants looks growth etc etc. Pretty sure if everything good you can throw in one dose no real problems - live and learn :-)

Thank you very much lol im here to learn and well i have all ready learned a little bit from you guys
I post on where to place a thermometer, exact air speeds and why wind is bad, drying and curing,, hermies, apical dominance and loss of, genetic overview of our plant amongst others if you need answers to any of that :-)

You don't need to flush. Flushing DOES NOT remove all this so called bad tasting shit. That's a bunch of ridiculous stoner science. If you start flushing at six weeks then you'll be starving your plant when it is bulking up the buds. Regardless of what the description of the strain states most plants go more than 8 weeks to fully finish flowering. Starving your plant for weeks at a critical point during flowering is not a good thing to do.

Precisely. Flushing is only for removing salt buildups in your medium. Thats the only reason to flush. If you are feeding properly, watering with adequate runoff the need to flush is minimal. I DO flush my plants a couple times in their lives just to keep the soil from building up phosphorous. A flush is followed immediately with a feed, no waiting.

I've been told a couple different times that it looks like too much nitrogen, if I haven't given any nitrogen except for what could be in the soil (I'm using ffof) how would I go about lowering the nitrogen?

Nothing you can do. Change medium next round if you want control.
