Has anyone used Tree Star Seed Bank?

I ordered numerous Compound and Seed Junky packs on December 23 and 24th. They still haven’t shipped. I have trouble getting any emails back. When I do, all they say is they will be shipping next week. That’s been going on for three weeks. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I’ve ordered with them for the past couple years no issues. Curious if anyone else had any recent bad experiences is all. You hear people jumping ship these days, doing a money grab on the way out. Thank you.

I've never ordered from them, but I've seen in multiple threads (thug pug, a handful of treestars threads, and at other forums/subreddits) that at minimum Treestars is disorganized. Ghosting seems to be common practice if they get backed up with orders or pretty much anything else. Not sure they set out to defraud people, though. Most people say they've come through in the end...but sometimes the end is significantly later than it really should be.

No tracking yet. But like I said, I’ve used them for a couple years with zero issues. Sounds like this was just a matter of them not being able to get the beans from the breeder. I’m not worried anymore. Patiently waiting for the tracking. They do get a lot of rare genetics, those seed junky and compound emerald cup drops sold out in minutes.

The normalization of selling stuff you don’t actually have as pre-order is just irksome but glad you’re getting your stuff.

See Neptune seed bank IG for recent noisecwith treestars. Litfarms and others banning from vending through treestars. Sounds like a “stay away” status.

I just made my first order and I had a really good experience. I saw that some of the sale prices were still up from for 4/20 and reached out to them on Discord when those prices weren’t showing up on checkout. They were nice enough to honor the discount for me via a custom order and threw in a hat for being a Discord member. I just ordered 2 packs of Wyeast Farms last night and they’re already shipped I’d recommend.

I am beginning to wonder myself.

Sent cash that they got last Thursday.

I have emailed 3x
Sent a FB message on messenger
Called the phone number
Texted the phone number

No replies anywhere and been trying for 6 days.

So far not overly responsive but let’s see. I would have thought 24hrs for a response from a company of this calibre.

Literally hundreds of comments stating their service is crap

I’m sorry for the bs my dude. I must’ve ordered at a good time but haven’t ordered since :/ I’m glad the breeders I grow have started selling direct since then.

The first experience was mediocre. Several weeks to ship. I had to send multiple emails to get a response and finally was sent tracking info. This time way worse. It’s been months since I ordered. After two months I finally got a response that said they couldn’t find the packs I ordered, even though they are still for sale on the website even today. Since the one response I’ve been ghosted. I email every day through their portal asking for a refund. I will NEVER do business with them again. I recommend anywhere else.

I’ve been following this on discord and IG here and there. Apparently something happened to the owner “Tree” and now some people are still waiting on packs they paid for two-three months ago. I was also in the Compound discord, the team there was saying he was listing pave packs he didn’t have/wasn’t going to get. It also sounded like back on his Christmas Eve apples and bananas drop he didn’t have the pack/wasn’t going to get them. But compound bailed them out a couple months later and gave them the packs since so many people were pissed, myself included. Waited 2.5 months on a 3k order ridiculous. I won’t ever be using them again. At this point it seems like they are RIP in the future. Their moderator on discord can’t even get an answer from anyone on the team.

Huge yikes, seen people upset with wait times and general practices for a while - seems like they should just toss in the towel if they’re misleading customers like that.
