Hi again friends,

Ok, so I went to take a look at my two girls, and my big bang has maybe 15 tiny balls in various places and my OG Kush has 2. (I have a total of 2 plants in flower now for nearly 3 weeks.
I think they might have turned, but I don't want to kill them, they are huge. I have had them in veg for over 3 months. This is my first grow and they have had some stress.
Is there anything I can do? Can I keep picking the balls off? I don't have access to any chemicals anymore, what I have- thats it. (I have a new bulb coming tomorrow!
Its really hard to see the balls in the pictures because they are so small.

Thanks for any help and advice.

Picture #10 #15 & #16 you can see 2 balls clearly.

those pics are pretty blurry or too far away to really tell to me. the fact youve had 75 views and no responses leads me to believe others are of the same opinion.

Those are defo male flowers - i can see the ball on the stick thing going on. I've never had a hermie grow that kind of pollen sac, i usually see the little banana shaped ones that grow in with the female flowers later in flowering.

If you cut it off make sure and mark the branch it was on, maybe with a loop of string, so you can check that bit extra closely every day. I'm currently dealing with an ongoing herm but seem to have it under control by plucking them off. No signs of seeds yet, but you need to inspect every inch of the plants every day.

Yes - The tiny little stems that the balls are on, are a dead give away.

Bummer.

What are you going to do? Groom the shit out of them?

Thank you my friend, this is my first grow and I've invested so much time and money into it that to kill them now would be tragic, I'd cry :(
I'm going to do as you say and keep going and inspecting hard everyday.

I took some clones a few weeks back, will they be Hermie too?

Thanks again for a little pointer and some reassurance.

Yes buddy, going to groom the shit out of them :)

My bulb is dying now, but I have a new one coming tomorrow, so hopefully it'll speed things up.

I've invested so much into this I'm shaking with worry!!!!

Thanks again.

Hence the beauty of 12/12 from seed.....by Day 20 the plants have shown sex, and at that point the boys get killed and the girls either stay on 12/2 or go into 18/6 veg....No wasted time and effort growing boys. Just my opinion....

Buy some Dutch Master Reverse and treat with that, with reverse and stop the balls ;-)
I just checked out Dutch master and it says do not use once flowers begin to form. Mine have just started forming (check pics) and by the time it gets here in a week they'll be even more formed.
Anybody have experience with it with forming flowers?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks mate, stressing at the moment so the sooner the better.....

Cheers.
The first hermie is a doosey. Try not to worry too much, on the bright side the plants are still healthy and will continue to produce buds. Be ready to spot banana shaped pollen sacks aswell in around the actual buds, they are usually a lighter shade of green or yellow than the calyxs - i find it much easier looking for them in natural light as the hps makes everything look almost the same.

I dont clone so i cant say for sure but id suspect that clones will have the same hermie tendancies as the mother did.
