My government-ese isn't as good as it once was but when scanning through the new rules on pot (HB3400) I came upon this section looking for limits to growing/possessing as a self grower:
snip
-----
SECTION 82a. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, a registry identification
cardholder and the designated primary caregiver of the registry identification
cardholder may jointly possess no more than 24 ounces of usable marijuana.
(2) Subject to subsection (3) of this section, a person designated to produce marijuana
by a registry identification cardholder may possess the amount of usable marijuana that the
person harvests from the person’s mature marijuana plants, provided that the person may
not possess usable marijuana in excess of the amount of usable marijuana in the person’s
possession as reported to the Oregon Health Authority under section 81a of this 2015 Act.
(3) A person designated to produce marijuana by a registry identification cardholder may
not possess usable marijuana in excess of:
(a) For a marijuana growsite located outdoors, 12 pounds of usable marijuana per mature
marijuana plant; or
(b) For a marijuana growsite located indoors, six pounds of usable marijuana per mature
marijuana plant.
-----------------
snip

Am I missing something or does this mean that as a grower (outdoors) for myself, I can have ***72** pounds of usable marijuana at the growsite??????? Even to me that seems a mite excessive...

Wow, quite a quiet group. Anyways, I spoke to a lawyer, my reading was in fact correct. If you're a patient who grows for themselves (or a grower) you can have 12 pounds of usable marijuana per plant. OMFG.

Also, his read on the previous section suggests that the reporting stipulations do no pertain to patients who self grow.

While I quite dislike the whole, ability to ban medical facilities aspect of HB3400 these limits make outdoor growing me a bit more comfortable....
