Hello, I'm bryguy and i just got my paperwork stamped. I grow in SE Portland. I'm looking forward to sharing my grow with you guys. I just started 4 lemon hazes, 2 white widows, 1 oregon blue fruit, and one blue widow. I was wondering if there are any compassionate centers or caregivers in the portland area that shares donated meds or seeds with certified med card holders? are there any classes besides what mamas offers for qualifying patients around ptown as well? cheerios ladies and gents, i look forward to good convos with you in the future.

good morning oregon board! Looks like we are getting another rainy, november day. I wish I could go up to mt hood today and snowboard :(. I think I feel like going for a walk today and just enjoying being outside. Hopefully everyone elses day is as powerfully possitive as waking up to today was for me. Peace!

well, of the 8 seeds i planted, all of them germinated. one lemon haze seed is acting retarded by refusing to grow upwards, and on white widow is having a hard time gaining color due to the seed almost refusing to come off the coton leaves. so sad :( 6 of them are little plants now and my one blue widow was born with a genetic mutation. Its got 4 coton leaves and 4 baby serrated leaves---ive never ran into this before, but i have heard of it from other growers. should be interesting how this turns out.

im sure all the seedlings will be fine. i have had mutations of having 3 cotydilions but not 4 have heard of it though, they are called trifoliates and qaudfoliates. they grow almost the same, and all mine were males, i get at least one when growing from seed.

well the one retarded seed grew up and popped the shell off yesterday. the widow is still not looking desirable. nearly dead, pale yellow leaves, green stem. at 20 bucks a seed, its sad when fem seeds do this, but 7/8 germination rate isnt bad. cant believe we got snow in portland last night, crazy. hopefully my mutant doesnt turn out male---its a feminized seed haha

Well, my seven females are off to a great start! They are building their second true set of leaves right now and should be approaching vegitative developement within 2 more weeks. I would like to start flowering between January 10-20th. I'm bummed out though as my 600 watt ballist broke on my last grow and now I am only stuck with one 1000 watt system (and no MH bulbs, only 2 HPS bulbs for this beast.). I meant the 1000w for the end of the flowering process, prefering to grow out 4 or 5 plants under a 600w system for 6 weeks of flowering, and finishing up with the 1000w due to the excess heat that the lamp puts out through my parabollic hood. I have a really nice exhaust fan for pumping air out, but as I'm in an apartment building, I'm currently frowning on cutting any holes through the closet of my grow room to allow an intake fan to bring air into my room.

I'm planning on moving from Portland to southern oregon (roseburg area/coosbay) in mid spring of next year, probably after my harvest.

I have a few questions: I'm not trying to buy weed through the black market anymore, now that I am a med card holder (I don't want to jepordize my liberties for a quick $250 medication ritual). I am aware of the cannabis cafe on the SE side of the Columbia, which costs (I believe) $10 for a one day entry, although I'm not into going somewhere else medicate. It just sounds too much like a ganja bar to me, which is out of the way, and a ways from my home. I was thinking that I would probably find a compassionate grower there that might be able to ease my pains until my crop finishes there though, but that's a long shot and not gauranteed. I've heard good things about this Oregon Green Free (not paying attention to what I've heard on this board) where people can be found that may be willing to help people get on their feet, but they require a lot of fax tag with faxing driver's liscences and OMMP paperwork, on top of fees for using the site (unlike RIU that only asks for donations). Are there other resources in the Portland area that someone might go to to find a compassionate grower that may be willing to help a guy in exchange for clones and buds from my future harvest? Kind of like a barter system? I'd be even willing to go as far as donating some cash to help out with electricity costs and nutrients (I know how expensive both can be lol)

Just so it's noted, I'm in no way asking for marijuana on RIU, but sources that I can meet in person or call within the portland area that would love to verify my status as an OMMP patient and that I am an oregon resident. I am soooooo into meeting growers! I would like to learn more about hydroponics an how to build do it yourself drip systems (my last attempt failed miserably!)

Peace!

Also: My harvest is planned for around March 15-20th for my Hazes, blue widow, and Blue fruit with them being dried and ready by 4/20/11, while my one widow will likely not be done until April 5-10th. Also: if anyone near portland would like to assist me with some hash bags, I would love to share a bounty of hash with anyone who is willing to help with loaning me some bags for a few hours (They are more then welcomed to help with the process!)

theri is always growers down here with extra meds that donate them for really cheap at the clinics, id call your local clinics and see, also the one in my city has a post board and all over is posted grower with extra meds for donation it is real easy to do. and yes it is legal to trade clones, seeds, or bud to obtain other bud. or make a small donation

How much do you normally get from clinics when you recieve a donation? A gram or two?
im not exactly sure, if you go through a clinic then it is normaly like a 10 dollar donation and you get 2-3 grams and a nice bowl of hash. other growers will donate more meds for a bigger donation. like 50-75 donation for a oz
