Okay some about two weeks ago my sharks breath started dropping leaves like crazy I figured nitrogen so I added cal mag a week later the plant isn’t getting any better so I went to some friends who grow and they said do a slurry test well that came out to 5.8 so if I’m watering with 6.5 why is the ph of my slurry test so low I’m running emerald harvest nuts I mix nectar of the gods #4 soil with happy frog and ocean forest in 7 gal pots

I don’t know what’s in your soil. But peat is acidic. You’ll need to water above 7 to make the ph move at all.
I’ve done hard corrections on plants with ph of 12 water just to get it to move 1.

Fox Farms Soils are inconsistent and unpredictable, it's made out of residential compost. Switch to coco next time and I bet you have no problems if you use simple nutrients and don't over think it.

What’s a good brand I’ve been thinking of switching ?

and be ready to water/feed often. I’ve had much better luck since switching to 50%+ coco mix.

I do not see any signs of pH issue… pH 5,8 in mix sounds pretty normal

In soils, intensive fertilization with ammonium-based fertilizers or ammonium-forming fertilizers (urea) may lower soil pH.

too heavy fertilizing i bet.

I’m half dosing my nutrients I try to feed twice and flush so there’s not to much build up
