Hi everyone, This can be a fun challenge for the more experienced growers on this forum I need help rearranging my grow tent. I recently moved my two plants from a 2x2 into a 4x4, but almost everything i had was built for a 2x2 tent from, lights to fans, Etc.. I am week 4 into flowering, but i have to leave the grow tent door open or half open all the time because of high humidity. This is what I am currently working with
Plants are in 3G fabric pots
2- 6 inch clip-on fans
1 oscillating tower fan tilted to blow air from the bottom
1- 10 or 12 inch fan hanging on top of lights for cooling(which I am not sure if I need up there)
1- 4inch vivosun ductfan suck air out from top of the the tent(connected to a 4 inch carbon filter outside the tent)
1- honeywell air purifier with true hepa filter
1- probreeze mini dehumidifier
1- 6 inch duct booster fan to blow air from the outside(currently off because i am keeping the tent open)
And finally for lights i have one mars hydro ts1000 and one ts 600 not sure how much they pull in total.
Please help me build the best and most efficient budget grow. :peace::joint:
all advice and suggestions are welcomed

You might be already doing the best you can with what you got. That's just 250 watts, you need more like 450 at least in a 4x4. The small dehumidifiers suck horribly. If you want to truly control it then you need a good dehu like a 50pt one controlling the humidity level outside the tent and a larger extraction fan.
You may be alright if you are just running 2 plants and having each right over the plants but humidity issues with a tiny dehu are impossible and to fully utilize the space you def need more light and if you get more light for the sake of humidity and temp you need more extraction.

You need a better extraction fan and filter. I am in a 2x2 and both are larger than what you have in there. The only humidity problems i have are at lights out, because my fan runs on temps, not 24/7. Not ideal, but basement winter temps are too low for 24/7 extraction. No mold issues so far and have humidity spikes to 80%.... maybe the good circulation has saved me

Yeah this is the ultimate budget grow set up. Unfortunately i am still studying and can’t really afford to go crazy on growing weed behind everyone’s back. But about the crappy dehumidifier, I don’t know jf it made the difference but i i added it, defoliated a bit and leave both the grow room and the lung room open i was finally able to god down to 50ish% RH, but it may be just natural reasons because i live in a humid place but the past few weeks were relatively dry. But i will test for one more week if the humidity goes back up i will retirn it to amazon.

Are all the fans sucking/blowing the right direction, just checking because you said you recently changed to a new tent

Nothing blowing in because the tent door is open but i do have a fan to push the air, should i turn it on? And i am preety sure the fan on top is sucking

I don't know, I skipped all fans this time round and only used half the space ;)
