What’s up all? I’m using a new nutrients ambrosia cropz it’s a salt base nutrient in veg cal mag and fruit/flower. I’m supposed to go off ppms but I’m new to this because I was lazy and bought advanced nutrients master grow Ph perfect bundle which don’t get me wrong grew some great buds but I never had to ph or ppm test my water but it’s so damn expensive and it expires really fast. Any help or advice would be amazing. I attached pics of what I’m using they gave me a chart to follow but the measurements I get are different I’m not having big problems but I notice little things starting

Those are very similar to the nutes I use. What seems to be the issue? I don't weigh my nutes but measure them. 1/2 tsp of vegetative 7-15-34 + 1/2 tsp of the Cal 15-0-0 + 1/4 tsp of the Mag per gallon should put you real close to 1.6 EC / 800 PPM. I just weighed some calcium nitrate and 1/2 tsp weighs right at 2.6 grams so their feed chart is pretty close to the numbers you should be getting. Are you factoring the ppm of the water you're using?

I'm sure those nutrients will grow good weed and are much cheaper than AN but the Cal, and Mag are complete ripoffs and just repacked calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate.

The veg at 7-15-34 for $70 for 5 lbs is so close to a product like Jacks, Peters Professional, or Masterblend 5-11-26 that you wouldn't notice any difference using any of them but the 3 I mentioned cost $45 for 25 lbs. That's somewhere around 8 times cheaper.

The Cal which is just calcium nitrate at $45 for 5 lbs can be had for $40 for 40 lbs.

The Mag is just magnesium sulfate "epsom salts" at $45 for 5 lbs can be had at any drug store for $4 for 3 lbs or you can also buy $50 lb bags for $25.

I wouldn't even bother with the fruit and flower myself and just use the veg all the way through or vice versa. There really isn't much difference other than slightly less nitrogen and a little more phosphorous in the fruit and veg. But not anything significant.

I think you made a wise choice getting away from AN's bottled nutes and these will save you some money but they are way overpriced. 2 of those parts are just repackaged and marked up 5 times. 5 lbs of epsom salts for $45. That's completely insane. And their blend of nutrients is nothing new. Basically the same formula's used by Jacks, and many others for decades. And now copied by MegaCrop. But if people want to pay the prices they're charging I can see why they're charging them.

Good luck.

Thanks a bunch it’s not a problem I’m having I’m just looking for tips or advice I measure my. Nutrients but I’m curious like what my ppms should be for seedlings thru veg and flower or a good number I should shoot for when feeding

It depends on what you're growing in. You'll want to use less for soil like Fox Farms as it already has a decent amount of amendments that can feed the plant. In coco or hydro you'll want to follow that chart at about 800 ppm's a few weeks into veg, seedlings don't need much maybe 300 ppm's. After a couple sets of leaves go up to 400 - 500 ppm and then bump up to 800 a few weeks into veg. You can increase the ppm's as you go into flower and then start tapering off around 6 weeks in.

If you're growing in any decent soil you don't need to be feeding for a few weeks and then start out around 500 ppm's with plain water in between. Feed - water - feed and if the plants start showing any symptoms of excess nutrients back off the ppm or start doing feed- water - water - feed.
