Help with S1 “cross”

Gents,

Hoping to get some help on breeding S1. I have two future strains that I want feminized seeds from, both are fems. One is Slurricane, second is grease monkey.

Complicated part...I’d like to have the Slurricane come out as Slurricane but the grease monkey to come out as a Slurricane x Grease Monkey.

The idea is keep them both in the same tent. Apply colloidal silver to the Slurricane only and it spew all over everything. Net, I end up with all fem seeds. Thus one batch of Slurricane and 1 batch of grease monkey x Slurricane

Seems to good to be true. Anyone tried this before?

So is there going to be 3 plants in the tent?
2 slurricane and 1 grease monkey?

Sorry, just trying figure out exactly what you meant. If you only have 1 fem seed or clone of the slurricane, I would highly suggest you to make a clone or 2 of it, have those 1 or 2 clones be the ones to get sprayed, instead of spraying a branch or 2 of the same plant your trying to pollinate. It's a bit extra work, but will produce a lot more pollen and you'll have way more control of the timing, if you can have the pollen dropping when the girls are 2-3 weeks into flower, that would be perfect timing if your just going open pollination. Another benefit of spraying a separate plant is you can take it out, collect the pollen, and pollinate whenever is good for you.

Here's a pic of my CS setup, lemme know if you have any questions.

Just a heads up, but most likely that slurricane x slurricane cross won't breed true ie the offspring will have a bunch of different phenos and they might not even be all that similar to the mother's pheno. The exception would be if slurricane is an inbred line (F5 or on), then it should breed true. Certainly a fun project either way and it sounds like there's some good advice above to get you started. I haven't used colliodal silver but had good luck with a solution of silver thiosulfate (STS) I mixed up myself using Sodium Thiosulfate and Silver nitrate.
