Help with Starting Blue Dream Indoor date

I live in a state that will be going legal very soon. However it will be in the middle of the outdoor grow season. All of my buddies are in legal grow states already and are willing to start some plants for me indoors that I can transplant outdoors when it is legal for me to do so. They can then gift those to me legally, complicated enough for you yet??? I have done 5 years of indoor growing and 0 years of outdoor growing for lets just say obvious reasons. Can anyone give me an idea of the best time to start feminized blue dream from seed if I am looking to transplant as close to July as possible? I am not hoping for giants, I know this is far from ideal, probably going into 30 gal grow bags on a patio to be babied like indoor plants for this year and next year will be a better effort for trees starting early with more learning. I really appreciate any advice you can offer. Lat is 38 degrees. Elevation is 1200 ft. Thanks again for your help.

They can't legally gift you plants if they're in another state. While it might be legal in some states it's a federal crime to transport them across state lines and legal states have laws against importing or exporting cannabis to other legal states as well.

I doubt you'd get caught and end up in jail but it isn't legal.

Most people typically start plants end of April /Early May.

It's also a federal crime to smoke and grow cannabis as well so I'd be screwed all the way around as far as they go. I'm just worried about the state stuff for now. As far as the gifting, I still have to see the final draft of the law. They haven't released the final draft as far as I know. I can't see it being an issue as there would be no other way for people to get seeds or clones in the state legally. However, leave it to the government to legalize growing and then leave no legal way to obtain seeds, clones or plants. May would make sense I guess because I would think outdoor plants would start flowering around mid July or so around here. That would give them around ten weeks of veg indoors with some training. Thanks for responding..

You can legally buy seed now. So just order them.

I would also suggest starting them now or very soon. They will still have plenty of time to get big.

Next year, if you want to grow some big trees start them in January or February. Move them outside mid june (or earlier, with gas lanterning) and give them plenty of root space. Then build a trellis around them. You will need it :weed:
Good luck friend!

Yeah I have plenty of seeds, just can't legally start growing until July so my buddy is going to start some blue dream for me since he's in a legal state. Just wanted to get an idea of when to have him start the beans. I'll take over in July, transfer them outdoors to my climate and see how things go. In the meantime I need to do some serious learning about outdoors. Next year will be better, this is a learning year. Thanks for the help.
