Hempy bucket ph drop in flower!!!!!!!again

there is no reason to feed (if using perlite with a res) twice a day...
perlite retains the least amount of water of any hempy medium. so that would be more reason to water 2x a day. that's why perlite/vermic I think was a better medium than perlite only.

So would 400 ppm be enough for mid flower? My cal mag alone is 250ppm
that's why i suggested feeding 2x a day but at a lower ppm. with plenty of runoff.

are you using cal/mg because you use RO water?

did you mention how big your pots are? are they the "normal" 5 gallon buckets?

when i used to run hempy's I'd do 10% runoff to waste. I would do my "maximum dose" first watering , 50%, the next then 25% following that. I only had to water once a day until they really started thriving later on

when you let there be 10% runoff each watering you're ensuring the old nutes are being replaced and the pH is stabilized again

One pot is 4 gal other is 1.75 gal yes my ro water is 3 ppm so I add 5ml of cal mag plus per gal by then it’s 225-250ppm depending oN my ocd on that day I let it be I don’t use any booster products just a and b veg and bloom and cal mag

What that 100-50-25%feed throughout flower as well

well my recipe of 100% is different from what the bottles say... but lets use 1/4 tsp per gallon as an example... for early veg
First day i water with say 1 gallon. I do 1/4 tsp
then i do another gallon the next day, 1/8 tsp
next day 1/16 tsp or so

all with 10% runoff. If they look hungry I up the feeding to 1/2 tsp first water, then 1/4 tsp next water, and 1/8 tsp third water

I'm using "100%" strength not as manufacturers recommendations but as my own "maximum feed" for that plant depending on the stage and what it wants

Wtf guys new development 420 P PMs went in last night right before lights turned off 6.5 PH influx before lights turned off tonight at lights on there was 487P PMs runoff so she’s putting nuts back into the rez what the fuck is going on I flushed her yesterday down to 35ppms then gave her nute water and her run off ph was 6.4 ....run off ppm was 410 Just now 13hrs later theirs almost 100 P PMs more and pH was 5.4 so she’s dropping fast

feed about an hour after lights turn on instead

i would feed with 300ppms about an hour after lights on, and then again with 300 about 6 hours later. with about 20% runoff.

did you flush coco with plain water? never do that, always flush coco with very light nutes.

It’s not coco it’s 100%pure perlite Hempy bucket also is 300 ppms really enough in week 4 flower on an 8 week strain? My cal mag takes up 250 ppms even if I drop it down to 150 that’s only 150ppms left for growth in the most important tune of the grow I’m not being condescending so please don’t think that is 300ppms 2x a day at that stage of growth something you have 1st hand experience on Hempy buckets with?

my bad, i thought you said you were using coco nutes.

and yeah, i did autofeed hempys for about 3 years. i fed mine 2x a day during flower: once at 1 hr with lights on, and then again 6 hours later.

but you have to go lower than 400 if your ppms are rising. that tells me you have salt buildup in the perlite. try 1/2 dose of cal/mg and then nutes to 300ppm for a few days. see what happens.

you'll just have to trust me: unless your plant is 6 ft tall, it's not gonna eat 300 ppm in 6 hours.

Ok man I’ll go down now and adjust my Rez I’m putting my faith in you I’ll let you no what happens...even after a heavy flush down to 30ish ppms I could still have salt build up u think?

tell me how you did your flush.

this is generally how i did mine if needed: RO water until ALOT comes out the drain hole. let it go for 12 hours. then same thing: lots of RO water and then let it go for 12 more hours. then start back at 1/2 the PPMs I was running before i noticed tip burn, etc.
