Hermie options

Hey all i just harvested my girls and they had hermied badly so i have 2 questions.

1. Is it still ok to smoke?
(Not selling it as i only grow for myself for pain relief and eases my low mood and sleep disorder)

2. Can i make edibles with it.
If so do i remove the seeds 1st or can i make the butter and before hardening pour liquid through strainer or would the seeds taint the mix?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Sure you can smoke it, just be careful to remove all seeds. Personally I would NOT use a grinder on seeded weed. You can always miss one and if you grind a seed up your whole joint smells like crap. You can make edibles, BHO, bubble hash,... No problem.

Of course you can smoke it, pull the seeds out. Same goes for edibles, some people eat hemp seeds
Decent thanks for reply appreciated but i’ll refrain from eating the seeds unless it’s on my sesame bun ‍

Yeah i saw that online after i posted my query.
People saying tastes and worse on a bong/pipe.

Thanks for reply.

Which is the guilty strain you were running?
2 strains from 2 different suppliers i couldn’t believe it.
Had heat stress at start then nutrient problems which i corrected but no light pollution which most people attribute hermies to outside of seed issues.
Buddha Kush and Stardawg which then showed up deep inside my own trainwreck only noticed that after harvest as they were deep but other 2 had signs i just never had experience to spot.

Sorry i meant to add so i don’t need to worry about seeds in my edibles then and should the strainer catch them?

Thanks again in advance.

If seeds are mature and strains were good? You may have restock if not a winner. Or more herms if no light or stress induction. I'd drop a few and find out if you have the room leeway in your grow.

Bonus beans I say. Unless selling. LOL.

Best wishes.

Judging by what i’ve been reading “once a hermie always a hermie”
Not taking any chances that was soul destroying.
Na not moving any.
I only do 1 when i’m running low and only for mental health sleep deprivation and pain relief after an accident 10 years ago.

Buds look smell awesome just those little barstewards hiding inside lol.

I’m putting 5 oz in to butter now i know i can and making space in freezer for ballistic brownies an coma cookies
