Hi. Getting back to it

Hi. Just a quick heads up. I used to be a member here around 8 years ago. Its been awhile but i'm back to see what's new.

I have some experience (around 20 grows in DWC) but only a couple outdoor grows. I am way behind the times and lingo so please forgive and be gentle.

My situation is not the best but last year I decided to get growing again even if it was a single pant grow due to space.

I got some seeds from a questionable seedbank so I am not confident the seeds are what they say, but so far they seem good.

I need to get back up to speed with strains etc.. I used to love OG Raskal seeds, but could not find them now.

So right now i have had a couple of successful little indoor grows, nothing worthy of mention. But last year I put a left over seedling in my vegetable garden. She is very sativa dominate (something I never really grew before) I had to keep her trained fairly low. She now looks like a 7 foot wide spider.

She is in week 4 or 5 of flower and for the first time I am starting to feel good about her. big long colas that are starting to form nicely. I just hope they mature in time, and fill out. Both of which i am a bit concerned about due to being a strong sativa.

Anyway, its nice to be excited by a grow again, and I look forward to catching up, and more learning.

We have some common things. I am growing for the first time in 4 years. I was once a very well known member of RIU and had many successful grows and helped a lot of newbies. One day I was clipping some popcorn buds. Long and tedious hours with sore hands. Decided to stop growing sold all my equipment.

I was diagnosed diabetic about two months ago and read a lot of research suggesting CBD as good for helping the body produce insulin. So I got excited again. I got some new equipment and some seeds. Blue dream photos and amnesia haze autos. Both are sativa dominant because strong indicas cause my anxiety to spike.

I am currently growing two of the blue dream and will pop some of the autos when I chop the photos.

Very hyped to be growing again! Good luck and good growing to you!

Hi O.F.

Thanks
Yes, my story is similar.

I went through a rough patch in life. Lost a lot and had to restart completely. And like you I have got the bug back after learning more about the medical effects. And I find the hobby of growing is so rewarding and therapeutic on its own.

I need to go back through some emails to find out what this strain is said to be, it was something like Gorilla cookies, or L.A cookies.

Good luck to you too mate, all the best
