I'm in week 2 of flower and just purchased a hlg 600 r spec. What level of intensity do I leave it on?
What's it at now, and how high from the canopy? @Doug Dawson has one.I'm in week 2 of flower and just purchased a hlg 600 r spec. What level of intensity do I leave it on?
Hey man, the best way is to buy a kilowatt meter. 50% at. 30" for veg and. 24" full power for flower. Adjust the light up slowly the 2nd week of 1212 until you reach full power over 5 days or so.I'm in week 2 of flower and just purchased a hlg 600 r spec. What level of intensity do I leave it on?
It would be best to just ask everyone's opinion of what they do. But thank you.I'd say the best bet is to stop worrying about dimmer percentages and distance so much, and invest in (or rent) tools to measure ppfd and DLI. It takes a lot of guess work out of the equation.
I usually rent an apogee from a local hydro shop and take note of what the general ppfd is at numerous heights in a set area and keep them as a reference.
I'm about 36 from the canopy and it's on the 2nd or 3rd dimmer switch. What's it at now, and how high from the canopy? @Doug Dawson has one.
Hey man. The info I gave you came from Stephen at HLG and worked great for me when I used it. It gives a good baseline and from there its really about watching your plants to see how they react. There is no arguing that just buying a par meter would give you good data but there are countless growers out there harvesting fantastic crops without having a par meter. Best of luck with your new light, it is a great light and will get the job done.I can't buy anymore equipment. My wife still doesn't know I got the light yet. Lol
How dare I suggest a sound, quantifiable method. It would be best to just ask everyone's opinion of what they do. But thank you.
Yea you talked me into one. I always wonder about the overlapping zone and table edgesYou have one of the best lights on the market, spend another $30 and eliminate the need to rely on anyone else for this info again, with this light or any other.
