Look into space totes. Two totes of your choosing stacked on top of each other with the top one being upside down. Very similar to what you constructed, just better.

I personally like it. If it every gets flimsy or its time to put it in an armoire or fridge, you'll have have everything you need from it.

I too have been vegging in a "temporary" cardboard box. It's in storage, amongst dinnerware and Christmas decorations . It's supplying a wardrobe grow, so it's plenty big for my needs. Being in a cool and stable room is a huge benefit. I have been too busy to rebuild my veg dresser, but this stealth cardboard box has been fine.
I have an ionic air filter to cover smell. It's plenty, got a radon fan down there anyway, 24/7 air exchange in the basement.
A great environment for a poorly ventilated box!
Keeping my stuff disguised in storage is how I like it anyway. No tents or rooms.

The nieces and nephews never venture down there. It's all boring stuff, and they aren't allowed down there anyway. Win win.

Only problem in several months was the furnace was out for two days, and some clones died.

I kinda take pride in my veg box. It's partially obscured by an old rolling chair for added effect, a "line of sight" trick. Even the nutrients are simply 30° out of view.
The chair blocks my light leaks and nutrients.

Yeah dude, wardrobes are a great thrift store item or Facebook marketplace purchase. It's not uncommon to hang seasonal clothes or suits in one, and they have a sturdy clothes rack. They will generally be a few inches deeper than a clothes hanger for obvious reasons.
Sometimes they have sort of a "footlocker" in the bottom, with a hinged lid.

Mine is made with thick cedar, handy for screwing into as well.

Mine is annoyingly about 37 inches wide, 22 inches deep or so. Old tube tv armoires might be 32 inches wide, and 27 inches deep.
A wardrobe is superior to an armoire for flowering because it isn't built as two separate boxes. You are capable of having 5'+ of true interior height with a *wardrobe*, whereas an *armoire* is usually two discreet boxes in which neither is more than ~3 feet tall.

In general an armoire can have two bolts removed and you can separate the top and bottom for moving. Rounding the corner after a narrow stairwell with a low ceiling comes to mind. You would have to scrog or train aggressively to flower in such a thing.

Awesome pull bro. I've used a 55gal style barrel that held welding wire previously but I stuck pc fans, mylar and a 50 watt diy cob and had awesome results. Used it as a clone/seedling/pre-veg station. I love seeing what people make and what they get when they dont spend hundreds on tents.
