Household items for compost pile?

Dug a compost hole mainly for a couple outdoor plants this year it 30" wide and approx 48" long and about 20" deep. I planned on throwing in my used up soil from last grow, banana peels, eggshells, potato skins etc. I thought I would chop up the leaves from the 15 foot banana trees around my pool. I chop the Banana Trees for the winter down to a foot tall and put a bucket on them for the winter so the roots dont die. And the leaves and stalks make a sizeable pile that just rots away. Maybe thats why I have so many earthworms every time I stick a shovel in the ground. In the spring new sprouts will come up by the dozens (I give away 20-30 2 foot trees away or they will literally take over the yard and create their own tropical jungle)

Anyway, what are some good other products I can add and keep cost to a minimum using mostly common organic trash?

I used all that you mentioned, plus a few things. Wood stove ash from hickory and oak (5 gallons), a 5 gallon bucket of chicken poop, deadheads from rose bushes, I planted an area of red clover and harvested it several times, every pulled plant from the regular garden (as long as no seeds). I have a compost tumbler I would guess holds 40-50 gallons. I swear I put enough crap in it to fill it about 10 times lol I got no clue where it all went. All my ganja trim went in there too. I found the list of good things was much larger than bad things so you might approach it that way. I know there was more but that’s all I remember right now, I’ll add what I remember.
