How do I add a UvB fluorescent to my LED grow lights?

Hello all, pretty new grower here. I'm not interested in growing for profit, just personal use. This is a picture of what I have so far. I followed a guide online from growweedeasy.com .

Basically I'm trying to figure out how I can add a UvB light. I am interested in this being as natural as artificially possible. I cannot grow outside due to the climate where I live, otherwise I would just do this outside and not worry about this. I already purchased an Agromax PureUV UvB tube, however I cannot use it at all. I purchased with it a Growbright fixture, but it has no place for me to attach ratchets or anything. I was planning to use it for just one 15-minute burst around noon (I have my lights on from 7am - 2am).

I played around trying to figure out where I could hang this thing and I'm now stuck. Even if I could hang it, I'm not sure where I'd even do that. Does anybody have any pointers or tips? Thank you all

any pictures of the lamp?
if they are like regular flo tubes. maybe get some wire and tie it to the side bars of your grow tent soo it sits on the wall. and then a simple timer for that 15min burst.

Um...... hang it from the bars at the top of the tent.

just use zip ties to secure it to a hanger or the top of the tent rails. I have the same thing. i don't believe it does anything though. frostiest buds i have pulled were without uvb. not sure if i should keep running. was at 30 min an hour for 4 hours in the middle of the light on.

The science on UVB lighting seems sus. I wouldn't recommend it.
If he already has it then he can use it, plants utilize the entire light spectrum including green and UV & far red/infrared. IR & green light penetrate the canopy more since blue and red will be more readily absorbed by the upper canopy. UV has been proven to be beneficial as well since the plant wants to protect itself from those high energy wavelengths.

It's been so long since I've done the research myself but there is a YouTube channel and there has been scientific journals including test done by NASA on crops and universities on cannabis and hemp utilizing different parts of light spectrum both visible and not and the conclusion was plants utilize ALL parts of the light spectrum including far red and blue (IR & UV) and in doing so yield and THC or vitamin content were all higher.

Sorry I can't provide links though, if I find this guy's YouTube channel I'll drop the name.

This is misleading.

Plants only use a very specific wavelength range of UV light and I have never seen evidence its nessessary to optimize plant health.

Also, what is natural about giving short bursts of uvb incrementally throuought the day?

Unfortunately the lighting ballast that I had did not have a means to hang it. I was basically being forced to attach it to a board or something. I returned it and am getting a different ballast tomorrow. I am just learning about a lot of this stuff now and the Far-IR stuff is what I'm just learning about now too. My HLG-100 R spec does not have Far IR either but I will just see how the UV does. I have an AgroMax Pure UV tube which has 75% UVb/25% UVa

I use sun blaze fixtures to mount mine between my bars. I didn't use the hooks, I just tie strapped the fixture directly to the light bar mount.

With a small qb style light like that you’re not gonna find a space that spreads the uv well without blocking a significant amount of the regular light. If you’ve still got the receipt you could return it or save it for when you decide to grow bigger(nobody stays in the small tents for more than a grow or two ime) ya get a bigger tent and a bar led put the uv fixture in the middle between bars g2g

good news is you can grow excellent weed without it in fact most growers aren’t using it and why? Because it’s an extra cost and an extra failure point

That bulb is quite extreme for uv supplementation. Id make sure you hang it at least 2feet over cannopy and ease into the 15 mins. If you push to hard with this bulb youll hurt the plant and yield lower.
Ive heard some say its not ideal since it has much more uvb than uva, youd want to copy nature and have more uva, it hardens the plant so its better prepared to take the uvb.

honestly if you want UV why not try CMH lighting? i know this post is old from march or somecrap but I was also using led's and i wanted UV so i just bought a cmh light setup from amazon and yesterday i purchased a cmh ballast from growershouse lol :)
