Yoga, pilaties, anything of that nature. I used to have terrible back pains. I found my quads and hamstrings were to tight which directy effects your back. stretch!! trust me

lol. Personally i would highly recommend abdominal breathing. Deep relaxing breathes, and that will have a calming, invigorating effect on your whole torso region, especially your spine and all of your joints and ligaments running up and down your back, which very much helps relax those back muscles, thus allowing increased blood circulation of new blood by carrying out the old blood. Relaxation is a(n)(extremely) powerful tool that allows your immune system to begin to work its normal course of constructing and conducting hormones/enzymes/lymph etc. to where it is needed, and in this day in age, our blood is cryin out for those goodys of the immune system. It's all conducted through relaxation(conducted through thoughtful, relaxed, deep breathes) which is controlled by your sympathetic nervous system( your regenerative, restorative nervous system), where as the parasypathetic controlls your active energy needing, physically/mentally taxing tasks. Those are the 2 types of nervous systems your body has. The only way to switch your system to your regenerative nervous system is by relaxing and letting your body switch over from the parasymathetic system(which handles all the stresses of daily life). Your body has a very inate ability to heal itself, just gotta switch that shit over and relax mind and body, anybody with a joint in there hand can probably tell you how it feels...:bigjoint:

To correct that, i would try some relaxation before deep breathing into it, simple movements like yoga or any movement you condone, practiced with thoughtful relaxness, should help un tense certain stresses in your body, which will give way to eventually directly relaxing your injury. It may not be essential to forcefully carry your breath for abdonimal breathing, but by relaxing your breathing, in turn relaxing your body, you will clear and open air pathways in the body, which will give a similar effect to abdonimal breathing. Things take time, but you can always be a little bit closer, good luck

first of all are you seeing a massage therapist, or r u having ur woman or what ever do your massage?
I personally know what your going threw I suffer from fybromyalgia and other back problems and this is very simular to what i go threw on a daily basis.
try this get really stoned ( this will help with the pain issue and help to relax the muscles) place a heating pad on the affected area for 20 min's, after the 20 mins do some lite stretches hamstring, and twisting hold at a comfortable stretch but dont go over board with it. and then relax for about ten min's, then put the heating pad on the area again for another 20 mins, then stretch again a little more aggressive this time, adjust your high ( smoke more if needed ) then have who ever massage your back making sure to not massage against the grain of the muscle, ( example the lower back the muscles go from the spine around to the stomach) massage gently and becoming more aggressive as you massage, the masseur should then be abile to find the root of the problem/ knot, from there you want to find that spot and press hard on that area with the point of the fingers ( this will hurt like hell) but it should start to relax then make sure to rub out the area after the knot goes down. then i would go back to the heating pad again and try to stretch some more if you can, expect to be sore the next day but it should help
