How easy is it to overfeed and how much should you feed ?

I'm using the ghe trio and following at half strength. I started off in biobizz and currently on day one of week 6. . I fed yesterday and 2 of the 3 are looking good . One the tips on the fan leaves are slightly droopy . Either it overwatered or overfed .

I've come to the conclusion from previous grows that even at half the recommendations is still too much .

It's 3-1-6 1ml per 2litre and 0-5-4 at 1ml per 2 litre . Which is half strength it's actually less than half

Feeding PPM levels also will depend on your plant...I assume photoperiod not autoflower? Autos don't like nearly as much nutrient feeding (half or less).

I'd look at a few different nutrient system feed schedules (or there are a handful of growing info pages that give ranges of PPM/EC for plant phases) and eyeball where they're suggesting the PPM is in the range (6 weeks) that you're looking at then triangulate a good amount. Adjust down if you start getting burn, adjust up if they're still looking hungry.

I must be really lucky with genetics then.
When I ran into any burning I did a deep dive on feeding autos and there was a ton of 'conventional wisdom' on cutting back on feeding schedules (even further than the traditional "drop it by 50% since the manufacturer is exaggerating amounts").

I've got a new set just coming up now...I'll see if I can push these harder.

Feed to amount of umols of light they recieve. And slowly increase as growth develops, so from100 to 200 when small, 300 to 400 in early veg 500 to 600 mid veg 700 800 for big assed veg plants or onset of flowering, after budset up to 1000 after good growth 1200 and if they can take it 1500ppm and umols am doing with no supplimental co2, just over month in fed 1850ppm yesterday, will find out if too hot very soon. I mix my nutes and add till ppms are where l want them. So far so much better than old way of directions lol. Or that looks right, guessing. I like to see tips burn a bit, then l back off after adding a few cups of fresh water to pots to cool off. Hope this helps stoned and tired.

I wonder if the difference between leastexpected and twentyeight is light watts used? How much light did the 2 of you use when flowering the autos?

Mine ramped up this last round. I started with about 300w and by the last few weeks of flower, I'd added more up to 675w (HLG boards). I'd been feeding GH Trio at half-strength of the current 'light' chart then pulled that back a bit further. I actually early on had bombed out my vegging plants with too much light and worked back to provide them with reasonable PPFD & DLI.

I mean, in the end if I can feed more aggressively I'd be happy with that, but anytime I tried pushing any harder the plants would complain.

If twentyeight used any more than 600 watts. Than its watts related. I heard nute bottle labels are based on certain size containers under 1k watts. We as growers have to break that down to what ever we use accordingly. So if you run a 1k watts, at some point you could be full strength nutes around 1000ppms. Less watts, less ppms. But what do i know? Im spitballing here...but it makes sense, you ran 675, feeding 600-750. Close enough

I'm sure size (overall plant mass) probably is important as well. Mine were small (topping out at just around 2') while if you've got 4' and some circumference, your plant may be able to take stronger feeds.
