How long does the minimum cure take?

Hi. I’ve been reading through different opinions on curing. Some say it takes at least 3 months, others say 3 weeks. Since curing raises the quality of the flower I would like to know how long you guys leave the buds to cure until you start smoking from them?

tops of the plants minimum 3 months. I barely burp either once every few weeks. Buds go in jars when dry but sticky.

Perpetually harvesting my own for over 20 years, I start smoking mine when dry and holding at 60%.

Always have a few jars at different 'curing' stages...I can barely tell any difference.....I just believe a well grown healthy plant, harvested at a specific time will release its treasure when dried properly.
No one I gift ever asks anything about cure or not so it's just a bogus word for us stoners to rave about when we're stoned.

My buds cure for as long as they last in the jar  I'm just here to get stoned :bigjoint: My minimum is as soon as they are fully dry.
Basically this, 100%. But, if I'm lookin to smoke some people out and really impress them, minimum 2 weeks cure. Anything before that buds can still taste "planty", but for personal smoke that doesn't bother me too much

It depends on the strain. The best genetics are ready to smoke as soon as the bud is dry and stable. A long cure might improve it a bit, but many smokers might never be able to discern the difference. Other strains need a good long cure to really let the flavors come through. I had one strains that just seemed like garbage to be after it was dry. I put it in a bag, and really kind of forgot about it until I was running low on weed, and the wife tells me that she the big bag of weed I had forgotten about. I decided to roll up a joint of it, and it was way better that it had been before the 3-months it sat in the bag for.

Good weed is good from the day its dried, I'm smoking a piece 20 days old it's fucking great.
Aye curing improves it but it doesn't make or break it.
Slow drying is most important factor.
