How many females of 65+ do you think would admit to trying mj?

My TV is on as I scope this forum and although I am not watching it, you can bet I paid attention when I heard marijuana mentioned. Currently on is an episode of the game show 'Card Sharks', which originally aired sometime in the early 1980s. The last question was this--

We surveyed 100 female senior citizens. How many of them admitted to trying marijuana at least one time in thier life?

The contestant that answered guessed 23.
The other contestant guessed that the actual number would be higher.

How many of these female seniors do you think will admit to trying it? I'll post the actual number in an hour or two. My own guess was way off.

2 hours gone and no guesses? Come on peoples, this is just for fun. Here's a hint: the correct answer is somewhere between 1 and 100.

Easily 75% in that age group. Remember, they would have been in their 20s in the late 1960s and early 1970s when everybody smoked weed.

Well, it's nice to see at least one person willing to take a stab at it. My own personal guess was about 43.
When I get back from walking my dog (about 30 minutes from now) I will post the actual number.

In the early 1980's, an 85 year old would have been around 65 in 1960. I'm guessing the number from the game show was pretty low. I'm guessing 30%.

Well...if that test was done in the 80s and they were 65+...Dude... that would have put them in the 'REEFER MADNESS' era!!! yikes!!

I know quite a few women in their late 50's who smoke, and have been doing so since their 20's. And as they go into their 60's, you can bet they will continue to do so to relieve the aches and pains associated with aging.
