How many times a day colloidal silver

I have started spraying my plants with colloidal silver twice a day, one spray before the lights go on and one spray before the lights go out. I plan to switch to 12/12 in a couple of days my only problem is that the lights go out at 6am and don't come back till 6pm, I work most afternoons and I don't wake up till well after the lights go out and obviously, I can't open the tent to spray at 9am because the plants won't get total darkness. Can I get away with spraying once a day? My silver is 50ppm

Nice. We were just talking about silver the other day. I see there's a difference. I gotta tag a few guys.

Is this the one?
I got a bottle of 30ppm stuff but I am going to use PPP Male pollen for this run provided by another member on a different site. Gonna save me a bunch of time and make reg seeds. I will mess with Fem seeds later. This is an old school strain so I wanted to go with male pollination. Thanks for the tag though, I am interested in this. Now I have been reading most use 30ppm colloidal silver. This seems to be the most common used but I have heard of the STS spray as well. Do the folks here feel it's superior. Both hinder ethylene production but one must be better than the other. Thoughts?

Just found this. You can use both. The directions are interesting. Colloidal everyday, and the STS every so often. Sounds like the STS is way easier, but I don't know.

If you can get hold of some silver nitrate sts is dead easy to make your self. Silver nitrate looks expensive but you only need less than 0.1 gram to make enough to treat a plant.

There is already a couple threads on STS. I didn't mean to start a hijack of this one about CS.

Yeah it's best to mix yourself. Those kits are a complete rip off. I spent $50 on chemicals a few years back, have done about 20 reversals, and still have most of the chemicals left. They want $50-$60 for enough to do maybe 2 plants.

Yep that's right. I've only done it with CS so far and I'm keen to try the STS. Do you let the treated plants self or do you use the pollen on another female?

I do it the same way with STS as I used to do using CS. I take 2 clones and flower them small. I spray one entirely and use the feminized pollen to pollinate the other clone entirely.

The clone that you spray will seed itself also. Is this seed viable and have you grown any out that's been made like that?

I've only had 1 attempt at making seed and I selfed the same clone that I sprayed. Do you think this seed is any good?

Cheers

Yes a reversed plant can self pollinate itself and those seeds will be viable feminized seeds. I never have that happen as my reversals are usually so complete that there are no pistils to be pollinated.
