How much longer should I be vegging?

so, assuming my plants are photo, and I don’t know the sex, how long should I let them veg before I start flowering? I have 3 plants in a 2x2x4 grow tent in week 2 of veg, and was told that 3 plants would be too much for my tiny space. I figured I would have to throw at least 1 or 2 of my 3 out (male plants), but photos don’t show their sex till flowering, right? They aren’t battling for space or crowded right now but I’m new and not really sure how long I should let them go or how I would go about figuring sex out before it’s too late. I just started my first grow with bag seeds to get a feel for it and was told most bag seeds are photo. any advice would be great, thank you!

They will double or triple in size depending genetics and by the looks of your space then that's not much room, I would flip soon because it looks like you topped them and will go out more.

They will show pre flowers once they reach sexual maturity, which is usually around 12” tall, just look up what male and female pre flowers look like, it’s pretty easy to tell the difference. Your plants are still very small so I wouldn’t flower for another 2-3 weeks and if you keep doing the LST, you could let them go even longer.

It could get a bit cramped in there if all 3 turn out to be female though so keep that in mind.

Also, I’d just assume they are photo so top away. Not many dispensaries use auto flowers.
