Humidity problems

19B522A3-8203-486D-BAF0-5BA779AA86EF.jpeglol I’m having problems with humidity there’s 4 plants stuffed in a 4x4 scrog 2 weeks in flower. Ambient humidity is around 40% but gets up two almost 70 in the tent. 6’ exhaust 6” booster two 6” tent fans vents open. This is my first hydro run. Hoping humidity will let up further in flower? Hope someone can give me insite.

It gets worse as they get bigger. The bigger the plant. The more water it sweats.

I'm on day 11 of flower. Humidity is pushing 60+%. Being pushed by the plants alone. I need it between 55%-50%.

At the this stage. The move from the humidifier to the dehumidifier. Its currently set at 45%. The dehumidifier is located in the room outside the grow room. Levels in the grow room are 54.5%. Measured with a calibrated ink bird.

My closet grow did the same thing. I went and bought one of them windtunnel fans and set it in a corner pointing up toward the lights and let my tent door stay open. I also let it run 24 hrs straight and it fixed my humidity issue. Kept it between 55 -60. One of my buddies also I had that humidity issue and come to find out he accidentally placed his tent over a heat vent. Good luck

you can always just raise the temp to compensate. if you can get to 80-85 f with 70 rh, your plants should be happy with it
also you should elevate that air pump above your water level. where it sits now, its working harder than it needs to and water will leak out of it if it shuts down

I can get it down during the day by leaving the tent open but wasting co2 I’m on day 15 hoping it backs down soon

You are right on them pumps!

he or she better have tons of air movement or he/she will risk bud rot/mold.
true. but i think every grow space should have good air movement regardless of their temp and rh
i was skeptical about the whole high temp, high rh vpd thing when i first heard about it too. it flies in the face of everything most of us read/were told for years. but ive since done it in tents, small ghetto rooms, and big, fancy sealed rooms and its worked out nicely- quality and quantity on point, no pathogens or pests (on top of spending less on running the a/c and dehu). all of these spaces do have tons of air movement though. maybe thats the key to making it work. i dont know for sure, but it definitely works ime

good points but it would suck to get those 2 plants done and then see mold in the buds. i never could get my RH down in bloom until i started sucking in air and not blowing it out.

and good catch on the airpump below water line! airline check valves are what i use to prevent that issue

That’s true my closet that holds my 2500 watt stays at 75 sometimes 80 degrees. All I use is an old window fan and let it isolate Down on the leaves. I also use just straight tap water in the higher temp because of the ph being so high up and they love it. My other lady in the other closet on the other hand doesn’t I have a salt down her ph to 5 and a half. Socks and it’s a lot of work in the salt and boil it down to some beautiful red ambers and tricomes growing at week 3 of flower and she’s a monster. By herself she’s making up both of my other closet ladies

The air pumps are in the tent been there the whole time no problem during veg
You can Try getting some air tube extensions lines and run the pumps just on the outside of the tent and that’ll drop you humidity be 15-maybe 20 right where u need it since u leave ur tent open. I know that might sound crazy but if you put your hands on the pump itself you can feel how hot it is and realize how much temperature it’s actually putting off into the tent along with your light. where the heat is higher like summer it’s preferred temperature for veg so that’s why it hasn’t been an issue and it compensates the summer, but tricking your plants to think winter also challenges that which means lowering the temperature 10° or so would be all it needs to think winters coming. I live up north and have plenty of times grew weed in feet of snow . I also have a friend who lives in Afghanistan and his temperature never goes lower than 70 and still grows just fine because they’re photosynthesis mainly. Good luck to you but I can try to help with some advice you don’t have to take it I’ve just seen people who Aqua grow pull there pumps outside to lower the heat during flower and it helps.

you got some issues with that plant. leaf margins up, tip burn, looks like one leaf was chewed on, etc.
