Humidity too high

Hi All,

Wanted some advice here. Dont remember this being a problem before but seem to be fighting a high humidity battle and im not winning! I dont have the best extraction and so there is a bit of circulation going on which im sure doesnt help. I've bought a dehumidifier which helps a bit inside the tent, not so effective outside after running a few tests. its still not enough though. I have control over the in and out fan and wondered what people thought would help most?

  1. increase air flow in and out (i worry this would make dehumidifier less effective)
  2. reduce the intake fan (would this mean the dehumidifier works better in the tent?)
  3. buy another dehumidifier and cross fingers?
Any suggestions helpful and appreciated!

How big is the room your tent is in? If it is under a couple hundred sq ft. , then buy a 50 pt dehu, put it in the room outside the tent and increase your extraction cfms.

I have had a few smaller dehumidifiers and they were all shite.

How big of an area are we talking? How many plants? How high is the humidity?
