hydrobuddy nutrient calculator help

Ok so I have been growing and buying nutrients for everything tomatoes peppers tobacco and weed. And that shit has gotten pricey. I've been on a diy kick and thought I'd see if I could find a way to make my own from the help of the lovely people at this community. So I found hydrobuddy calculator and thought it was pretty sweet and decided to download it. Then looked up how to use it and all the posts are usually from 2011. So I tried to figure it out and WHAT THE FUCK . I'm not dumb but can someone explain to me like I'm lobotomized how the fuck to use this shit. How do i calculate out anything. Every time i look at the back of a label such as cutting edge products i change the chemicals from what it says on the back of the bottle and every chemical seem to not be compatible or this is too concentrated and bullshit. I'd really like to use this to help alleviate the overhead cost of the company i work for but I can't do that if I can't get one fucking nutrient copied. the other question I cannot find the answer to is what is density (how do I find it, where did you get the numbers from, why those number). so if someone can please help me I'd love to learn but I only passed chemistry in high school because the teacher let me cheat, he let me look over other students answers. I cant math. and the problem is that everyone explaining it act like people who struggle aren't worth time explaining it to. because they just assume you know too much. I'm frustrated and I'd really like to learn this shit. Thank you guys.

See my signature. Honestly, if you couldn't handle high school chemistry, it's going to be an uphill battle. There are a few people on here who design their own, but we're a tiny minority.

Hydrobuddy has a bunch of built in formulas, and you can add new ones by putting in the ppm and adding to database. Also, check out hoagland formula.

Hydrobuddy has 2 main input modes. One, you put in the ppm of each element and it finds a how much of each salt you need to use to get those ppms. The other mode, you input amounts of salts and tells you the resulting ppm of each element. I'd explain more, but I feel like at this point I'd just overwhelm you with information. Definitely check out the tutorial built into the application and post whatever specific questions you have when you can't figure something out.

What is the density it's asking for and how do I find it when trying to use the commercial replication function. And how do I make sure the chemicals being used in the bottle as the lable says are the same in the finals recipe. And finally do I do all the nutes in a 2 part at once such as aqua flakes a and b then calculate or do I do aqua flakes a calculate, aqua flakes b calculate.

On a side note is there anyone who's putting recipes for things like kln or heavy roots or any root enhancer.

Thanks for helping I feel most my frustration comes because I feel like most of my posts get ignored. And for a guy with a brother who's a Dr. Quantum physicist. I can barely math. But at least I'm aware and working on it. I'm hoping something like looking at nutrients according to their raw form helps me grasp chemistry better.

When using it to make concentrated stock solutions, it puts each ingredients into A or B depending on compatibility. The substance database has an A or a B or each salt. For A+B solutions, it's intended for feeding at a 1:1 ratio.

So I do one at a time? Adjust the chems to match the what the lable says then calculate?
Also I've been on misterblah's thread that one is very helpful. Mostly bc he does all the work for me. But is like to know how to do it on my own for future reference.
