Hey!

So I’m relatively new to growing, having completed 3 grows now. I’m looking for some advice on new feed or extra things to add.

I’ve been using this:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Advanced-Nutrients-Perfect-Sensi-Bloom/dp/B07CV3ZTMD/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?crid=28DMSTQEO2SND&dchild=1&keywords=advanced+nutrients&qid=1633428424&sprefix=advanced+nitrient&sr=8-10

For anyone that doesn’t want to click the link, it’s Advanced Nutrients Sensi Perfect PH.

I’m from the U.K. so it has to be available from Amazon or some shit.

But yeah, I’m just looking to really up my game and I’d love to know what else to add into my feed routine to get some nice big juicy buds. Now that I feel confident enough to buy and grow some real good genetics, I know that I will benefit from using other stuff too.

thanks in advance!

If your in the UK I would recommend Athena if you want to continue with salts. However, I would recommend KNF or organic amendments over all

Are you using RO water?
If no, you don't want Ph Perfect.
I use AN Sensi Grow & Bloom, B52 & a "flower enhancer" but like jarvild said, nutes are nutes.

Have fun

I’ve never really looked into Korean farming but I hear the results are incredible. Definitely something I am going to try at some point! I’ll have a look at the Athena stuff. Thanks!

Nope, either tap water or spring water.
I’ll probably just get some kind of flower enhancer and that b52 for now then. Cheers!

From my experience, You are better off focusing on upping your game in all the other areas first before changing nutrients if you have only done 3 grows. How good were all of your environmental variables during those grows? and could you have controlled them better? Most of the well known nutrient lines perform pretty well if used properly. You are not going find massive gains as a new grower by changing nutrients from a well known line like Advanced to another like Cyco, or GH . Your biggest gains are going to come from plant training techniques specific to your set up and VPD based off of leaf surface temperature from the dialed in environmental variables. My point is, If your RH, Temp, LFS, Airflow, C02, and PPFD are not optimal while using Advanced for the first 3 grows then they will still be not be optimal with a new nutrient line moving forward. If this is the case, then you have not even really experienced the full potential of the genetics you are running with advanced now. Since you have some experience with advanced now. I would continue with that until you are confident that you can absolutely not do any better with that line. You are essentially starting over to some extent by trying to learn a new line at this point.

No one needs all those bottles to grow good weed. You can and should be able to tailor any nutrient line up to grow stellar weed. Less is more literally feed my plants at .80 cents or so a plant and able to feed them for two runs.

Outdoor in the ground during veg I use Jacks 20-20-20 once a week. In flower I use Jacks 10-30-20 every 3rd watering. Potted plants indoors and outdoors get the same with addition of cal-mag @ about 4.5ml/gal
Available on amazon cheap. Nothing fancy is needed for stelar results.

Thanks for the detailed reply mate, I’ll stick with AN for a bit then and try to get my environment bang on. I really struggled with keeping my temps consistent, but I just switched to LED so that should help there. I never checked the ec either so I’ll read up on how to do that properly!

I’ll try the calmag!
I forgot to mention I’m growing indoor in soil. Don’t know if that changes anything.

To be honest, since I've had no problems with AN, I haven't tried anything else. Having said that, after a few grows with their "Hobbiest" level, I started adding other nutes to it. I'm now up to their master (?) level, and noticed a big jump in bud size and potency. I'm sure there are cheaper nutes that could give similar results, but the idea of not having to constantly check the pH levels was what did it for me in the beginning, and I've never looked back... ;)

I’m pretty new to growing as well I’m on my 4th grow and been using canna coco, super simple equal parts a+B plus some calimagic for veg. Flower same equal parts plus pk13/14.

I like using nectar …. Like others said pick one and learn it …..I also start using cultured EON nutrients … cultured has some amazing easy teas….

I just use Miracle Grow. Reg for veg and Bloom Buster for flower. Both with the 'indoor' amounts, ~ 1/2 teaspoon per gal, which still is too much if you don't skip a watering or two and use plain water.

OP

Read journals and look at the pics.
Fried plants? Maybe stay away...

I started using the GH trio, just following the label, last grow and I like it; though I add Epsom salt & molasses.
