I think she might be a Hermie?

I’m not sure what’s going on but my outdoor scrog is just hitting the screen and I got a good look at it because the new growth was looking bunched up like it was getting ready to bud. I’m pretty sure I can see some small white hairs and what look like male flower pods. I’ve never had a plant so this. I did have an issue after spraying Dr Bronners Peppermind soap and Neem and I think I overdid the peppermint soap and the new growth started looking deformed on several plants of various genetics. Any ideas?? I have a backup plant if you guys think I should pull this one.

here are the best photos I could get.

These are regular seeds? You may have burnt the new growth.
Nope, they are feminized seeds. I figured that might be the issue so maybe I should wait a little longer before I pull her. I have a few a couple weeks behind to replace with if I need to.

Usually you see signs of sex, or herms at the stem/branch intersections. Not at the tops.
Your top growth does look weird

Yea, all my plants started doing this after I sprayed the peppermint soap spray with neem, even different genetics. I used 2 tablespoons of Dr Bronners peppermint soap per gallon which I guess is too much. Also used 2 tablespoons of neem in the mix.

Why would you spray that on them?
Dont see any insect damage

Part of my IPM program. My vegetable garden is about 10 feet away and I started seeing red spider mites on my tomatoes so I started spraying everything with my Hudson atomizer as a preventative. I used to use Green Cleaner but with the recent stuff that has come out about the company I switched to neem oil and dr Bronners. I’m guessing it’s the peppermint oil in that stuff that caused the issue. I’ve since purchased some unscented and of course I’m going to cut the recipe down a bit. I’m open to suggestions for other preventatives. I know some folks like AzaMax

I need to get a magnifying lens and get a good look but I swear I saw white hairs today. This is a first for me outdoor. Still not sure if I want to wait for it to reveg or just replace it with a plant that’s not having issues.

I can't shed any light on your veg situation but the photos look like female.
Here's a example of a male flower.

I'd watch the new growth on the plants and take it from there.

I appreciate it. I’ve always grown feminized seeds so I don’t have much experience with males although I did spray a female with colonial silver once to force make flowers to grow so I could make a batch of seeds on another plant. I’ll keep watching them.

It will reveg if thats whats going on. I circled what I believe are pistils.
I’ve never had to reveg before. How long does it take?

I think my mistake was starting it indoors under a 18/6 light schedule for a month and then moved it outside where the daylight hours are nowhere near 18. I bet that forced it to start flowering.

You can see un-opened males in my grow (reg seeds) - which I just realized is not in my sig yet...fixing that.

Nice, you have a large grow. I have a 2x4 tent and the outdoor grow is a scrog. I hope it reverts back soon as it’s just reached the screen.

Thanks! I only lost 5 plants this round - it's usually more - Hoping to set up a 2x4 and go perpetual soon.
There's a lot of male pics in my seed making thread too - but that was intentional.

@Star Dog & @bam0813 (nice avi!) have good examples too - looks like a few pistils on your plant

Ok, it’s been a week and they are starting to look more normal but still not quite right. I’m guessing it takes a few weeks to reveg. The most recent fan leaves still look a bit deformed, wrinkled looking. I need to remember next year when starting inside to keep the light time close to the outside light time if they are to be moved outdoors, I know better. I had them at 18/6 and moved them outside so no wonder they started to flower. Hopefully I will be able to report back in a couple more week with it back in full Veg.

I spoke too soon, it seems this lady is continuing to flower. It’s a Quick Kush strain so maybe it’s one of those that doesn’t reveg and keeps going once it flowers. I really don’t want to restart but I want big plants by the end of the season. May be time to swap out with the backup or should I wait a little longer?
