hey guys, I'm new to this forum but not to the forum community in general, so I'll start off by saying that I've had a few decent crops/harvests under my belt with minimal, cheap equipment so far but as of recently I've upgraded to two a-wing adjustable reflectors,2xlumii 600w digital/dimmable ballasts and 2x5inch inline fans In there also, I grow in soil only and have mostly used bio-bizz allmix, with bio bizz nutrients also, as organic as I can get atm., I've had good results but now want to go to the next level as it where, so I also bought two 600w metal halide bulbs to use during the veg stage, I was using hps bulbs through all of the growth cycles so far but I noticed even short, stocky Indica strains where stretching quite a lot with the hps light so I'm going to use MH light during seedling, veg growth from now on to produce shorter internodes and stockier plants in general, then I will use a mixture of 600w MH and 600w hps lighting during the flowering stage, my question to you guys is, will 2x600w lights be enough to support 8-9 plants through its life cycles? And will my 6ftX6ft square be adequate to support 8/9 plants from seed? Space wise?? I have altogether just under 7ft of growing space so it will be at least a foot for the lighting and just under a foot for the height of the 13.5l pots I use, using shorter pots this time also to see if I can get the plants a bit more short and squat. Any suggestions is gold to me, any tips? Which way is best to hand he a-wing reflectors? I'd really appreciate the knowledge guys!, many thanks

yes, mh does improve the spectrum and helps produce denser heavier buds, imo. i think people usually use a 2/1 hps/mh ratio when they do this.
your lights ought to be enough, but to get results from having both mh and hps you'll have to move your plants back and forth every couple of days.
i can fit 3 nice bushy plants in a 2.5x5 foot area, you could surely fit 6 in a 6x6, not sure about 9

I would run 18 3 gal pots under that 6x6,30 day veg end up 3-4 ft plants plenty of room,

Cool sounds good so I could definitely get 10 13.5L pots in that space under 2x600wMH for veg, then 1MH and 1hps both 600w for first 2 weeks flower then 2 600w hps for rest of flower?

should kill it with that set up
You really think so? Most I've grown at 1 time is four plants but I've upgraded all my gear, running 2x600w digital/dimmable ballasts and 2x5inch inline fans with two adjust a wing reflectors, biobizz allmix and nutes, but I'm gonna beg for a little less time this time as I'll have ten bushes hopefully, not just 4 lol

you can, you just have to start all your seed at the same time and veg them till you can get them to form a decent canopy, would just take longer than taking clones and flipping them
