If you can't laugh at yourself...

I thought all fellow nubes would appreciate this. I added an in line exhaust fan a month ago to my tent. I just discovered that I installed the fan backwards, sucking in rather than out. No wonder why my plants have been starting to have some problems. And further evidence of why this is test grow #2.

Feel free to harass me, I deserve it:cuss:

if you cant laugh at yourself, then you got no right to laugh at someone else. that being said.. i laugh at this.. funny shit happens man. at least you didnt set the timer for the fan to come on when the lights go out, and off when they are on...

Didn't drink and/ or smoke first, eh?
Don't feel bad man, at least you can laugh about it.
If you had told us AFTER the grow, then maybe you'd get a few chuckles.
So, you're saying you also have an intake fan blowing the correct way now?

LOL Dumbass I'm sure you said something similar when you figured it out, I've made my share of mistakes... I once bumped into a timer and cause it to switch the light on for 30minutes in the middle of dark cycle... took me 2 weeks to figure out WTF was wrong with my plants. I'm sure you've asked yourself this a hundred times but I gotta know if you can remember, how did you mess this one up? When you hooked it up did you not check each end for either suction or air flow, did you hook up all the hoses and everything first and than turn it on without testing? No matter what guarantee that mistake will be the last of its kind!!

Never build you room late at night lol I don't know if I've finished one before midnight ever but I start at a decent time. Always double check everything, treat your grow as if it were your paid job cause even if it's for personal use only, especially if its for personal use only you want it to be the best it can be and if it ain't making you money it's saving you money!!

I honestly have no idea how it happened. I had everything figured and tested. When installing, I must have set it aside and flipped it over. The carbon filter that comes before the fan is hard to tell. It certainly didn't feel like it had air blowing out of it. And even now, it doesn't feel like a strong pull when you throw a tissue or something on it, but it is clearly working. The muffler is up high and on a rack of sorts where I can only reach a couple fingers to it. It felt like air coming out -I swear it did!!!

Now my problem is that the whole tent is being sucked in but I think it is okay. And yes, intake fan blows the right way, it is just a desk fan so you can tell visually.

If you don't need your fan to run at 100% you can get a speed control at your hard ware store or grow shop.

You want a real doozy of a whoops my buddy gave my plants straight ff grow big (contains a lot of salt, probly didn't shake on second thought either) instead of big bloom because the labeling confused him cuz my plants were only in veg, i left him with a chart... :dunce::wall::dunce::wall::dunce: was only a week but the difference was noticeable, just a good thing that grow big is for veg too, just used way to much with non of the organic stuff.
and my max fan i just bought is doing the same thing to my tent, looks cool, guess thats how you know they are quality stitching.
