Hey! Hi

So, i have 2 nice big plants indoor growing. Its the best moment to take them outside to continue vegetative growth for 2 more months before flowering starts.
The thing is that im afraid they will start flowering because inside they are on 18/24 light cycle.

How can i adapt the plants to be outdoors without flowering for a couple more months?

Thank you!!

As long as the days are longer than 12 hours outside you are good to go. Just ease the plants into the direct sun slowly. If possible under the shade of a tree works great! Good luck with your grow!

We have 14.20 hours of light now. So, should i complement with a light for 2 or 3 more hours?
Yeah cuz you had it 18/24 it's whole life. That would be a 4hr darkness shock i wouldnt risk without supplementing on a large plant

Yeah @mudballs might be right. Thinking about my plants I started indoors and moved out did start to flower before it was even close to 12/12. Possible to give more light but outdoors? Moving plants in and out sucks!

What do you think it would be the correct lamp for this situation? Just to make them keep vegging... I need it to be the smallest possible beacuse it will be outdoors with the plant

First you're gonna need something to protect the light from the weather so hopefully you have a hoop house or greenhouse type structure. This what I use. Don't really know what kind of light or how many watts you need it to be.

The light doesn't need to be that strong. It just has to be bright enough to keep the plant awake. I have literally just put tape on the laundry room light switch (so no one could turn it off). Then I set the plants next to the window. It worked out fine every time I used this method.
That being said. Now that I have a hoop house. I put a 600mh above them with a timer, to run them from sundown until midnight.
Good luck friend!

You also need a timer , 10min on each hour, should keep Them in the veg , no need for them to be UP all night , make some saving on bills
