Mushroom spores are 100% legal in Canada. So long as your kit doesn't contain actual shrooms, it's perfectly legit.

Shrooms tend to fall under the radar in Canada anyhow, especially in the west.

Was contacted by http://magicmushroomkit.ca/ over the long weekend, they offered to send me a replacement kit. I thought about it for a while, due to the investment in time and work, and I accepted their offer. They haven't sent it yet, but I am sharing the information to be up-front and honest. If they they don't follow through, I'll be sure to update my post. Let's hope it works out this time around.

Look. With the possible exception of one site, any "company" professing to sell to those in the three forbidden states, they are opportunistic scams.

Imagine the business. Folks in California are itching to get some spores. Site after site refuses to send them because they are legitimate businesses.

WAIT! here is a site that states that it doesn't care about the state laws.

Of course, they cannot take credit cards because....of course again, the credit card companies would quickly refuse to service them because...of course yet again, its illegal to send them to California so.

Bitcoin is ok.

Mail order is ok

And cash is just fine. No coins please.

Order and we will wait for delivery of your funds before we never ship anything because we don't have any spores or syringes and never did.

But look, we have three entire states filled with folks who are willing to send us money.

its a clever little scam. You going to contact the California better business folk?

"I tried to buy a substance illegal in my state and they stiffed me"

Hey guys, I'm up here in Canada. The first kit they sent me took a couple of weeks to get here. I worked at the mega you grow kit they sell, but aftyer 3 months, fruiting didn't happen. It really pissed me off after putting-in all that work. So, I complained about it and they offered to send me the coco kit at a discount. Just got it a couple of days ago. It's supposed to be easier, full proof they say. So, I'm going to start the process tomorrow. I don't think they're a bad company or dishonest, with that kind of stuff, there are no guarantees that it will work, just to let you.

If this one doesn't work, I'm going to give-up for sure, lol.

I have better luck growing weed, ,lol. I've never smoked weed as good as the stuff I grow. The commercial stuff you can buy online is really strong, but I don't trust it. It is never cured properly, sometimes it doesn't burn very well, they obviously don't bother flushing it and some of the shit I bought was spiked with other things and probably full of pesticides. It is unfortunate that there doesn't appear to be any kind of regulation happening in the legal marijuana market in Canada. The stuff sold commercially is total garbage. My stuff smells and tastes like it should, bubblegum, lemony white widow, and so on.

Everything is about money these days, well I say life is more important than money, but nobody seems to care, so we smoke weed full of pesticides and so on.

Hello :) I think this might be a scam site now ??? I have transferred money, and no reply after a week later. I checked 10 times to make sure everything was done correctly. No mistakes... so I’m pretty livid. They scammed me for $150 !!!!!!!
If you're ordering from Canada to the US, you might be having border issues. I used to order a lot of products from the US that are not allowed without a prescription in Canada, it would get stopped at the border. Sometimes I would end-up getting letters from the Canadian border officials telling me that I was breaking the law and my package was confiscated, not in those words exactly, but you get my drift.

The US is very strict with recreational drug laws. In Canada nobody gives a f%#k. That's why it's a Canadian company you are buying from, which is good, but it still has to get through the border. As far as your government is concerned, you are attempting to smuggle illegal drugs accross the border.

In Canada, we've been buying and selling weed on the internet for about 15 years now and nobody gives a f#%k, we even pay using interac straight from our bank accounts. And it shows up in your mailbox 2 to 3 business days later.

When you've got a guy like Trump and is family running things, what do you expect, lol.

Still no sign of package :) and it has been 4 weeks since money was deposited into their account... don’t order from this company. MagicMushroomKit... they say like a week shipping and it costs $40 to ship. They say they will refrigerate product during shopping ($40), I called, and they have not paid for that. And will be shipped regularly. I have ordered from another company well after this one and it will get here before or around the same time... terrible shipping, but they will answer your emails after a couple days of delay XD
What country then?

BTW, nothing you might need requires refrigeration.

You might be more worried over freezing conditions.

Why do you say I live in the states ??? That was a big assumption outta no where ‍♀ Do more shrooms lol JK !
This post was originally about this website: http://magicmushroomkit.ca/

So you might be talking about another company?????

One of the people who responded to your post was saying something about companies that sell mushroom growing kits to some states that make it illegal.... That's why I though you were in the US. Sorry about that.

Honestly, I don't work for this company, I live in Quebec City. I ordered their original "Mega You Grow" mushroom kit a while back. I had the same problem as you, it took several weeks to get here. It was the beginning of the pandemic and I guess they must have been busy, everybody was looking to keep busy at home during the pandemic and I think they got swamped with orders, I'm guessing because I don't really know why it took 3 weeks to get here. By the time it got here, I think the Mycelium spawn in the seeds was a little ripe, I guess. With the shipping and everything, I think it was around $100. They inject seeds with spawn not sure if that's the right terms), then the mycelium grow inside and outside the seeds, which is what you use in the kit. Anyway, mine took a long time to get to me, then followed the instructions, but more than 3 months later, all I had was this white mold (mycelium), but no pinning, no mushrooms came up. So, I got pretty upset and I started posting on the internet and then a few weeks later they emailed me. Then they sent me the coco kit after hearing about my experience.

I never got nothing out of the first kit, even after patiently working on it, following all directions, for 3 months. It was a really bad experience. But, I think I figured out what went wrong. First, the mycelium spawn was a little dated because of the pandemic and the delay in the delivery. This stuff is alive and it has to be fresh and kept refrigerated until you "process" the kit to get it growing. The second thing I figured out is that there was a lot tiny little flies called fungus gnats, which are common in over watered plants. They lay their eggs in the soil and the tiny little larvae eat fungus and the roots and then they turn into little flies. I think my kit had both problems, the kit wasn't fresh and it may have accidentally been contaminated with fungus gnats, which would have fed on the mycelium, which is basically fungus right.

I received the second kit, this one is different, it's a coco kit. You just had boiling water and mix the whole thing, then when it cools down, you break up the seeds that have the fungus in it and mix it all up and dump it all in these 4 plastic containers. Then, you wait 12 days to 3 weeks with them in a dark place (closet), then you open the containers and put them in plastic bags under a light. It takes a lot longer than 2 weeks.

I know the site (http://magicmushroomkit.ca/ ) is legitimate. They sent me the second kit for free, but several months later, I still don't have any shrooms, lol. In about another week, I'm going to take them out of the dark closet and follow the steps. I think it might take a while for them to pin and start producing mushrooms.

So, I'm not sure who told you a couple of weeks, but I don't think that's possible, more like at least a month or two. And you should know that in Canada, there are a lot of websites that will sell you the dried mushrooms by the gram and it's usually around like $15 a gram.

The website is legit, but growing shrooms isn't that simple, not for for me anyway, lol. I can grow some really good weed, but to be honest, it took me a long time to learn how to do that really well. Back then it was illegal and getting information on how to grow weed was like mission impossible, but then the books on how to grow weed finally became legal again and I really enjoyed growing it, even more than smoking it, they are such beautiful plants and if you know what you're doing and don't have any fungus gnat issues, they grow really fast, lol.

I can assure you that they are a legitimate site, but I think they are really busy because so many people are doing these kinds of projects to keep busy during the pandemic. When I ordered seeds for growing weed, it took more than two months before I finally got them, again because people were ordering like crazy during the pandemic. I was really pissed too, I thought I got ripped off. But, I eventually got the damn seeds, lol.

That’s what they put... do I have to take a picture of the box ... this is a bad site... I’m from Canada, and any site is cheaper and better than this tedious taskly kit
By the way, the fungus they send you, does need to be kept refrigerated because it is alive and will eventually go bad if you don't use it asap, they say 30 days max.

Sure, but not during shipping, a few days isnt going to kill your liquid culture unless it gets over 95 for days.

I just figured it would be a waste of money.

Well, I received my replacement kit after having failed the first time, they sent me the coco kit instead of the original mega you grow kit. I put the culture in the fridge when it got here, as instructed. A couple of days after I followed their instructions, boiled four litres of water (reverse osmosis filtered water that does not contain chlorine or bleach), remember this stuff is alive, chlorinated water would probably kill it. They provided a five-gallon bucket to mix everything with the boiling hot water, which I did. Then, I filled the four plastic containers after everything cooled down, snapped the lids on, and put the containers in a dark closet at 25 degrees, didn't even look at them. 15 days later, I looked at the containers and they looked ready, mostly white, lot's of growth, I'm new at this, but they looked ready to me. EAch container was opened (took the lids off) and put into plastic bags they provided. The bags have smal holes in them and I tied the tops of the bags with the twist ties they provided. So, for the last 3 days, they are under a light for 12 hours a day. There seems to be a lot of white growth, looks like maybe they are starting to pin, but this being my first time, not sure.

So, yes, this is a legitimate company, but this last step 12/12 light/dark could possibly last one month or as their instructions explain up to 2 months. Apparently it is possible to redo the cycle over for additional crops, but I just want to get through the first one. I think there is a lot of work that goes into putting these kits together. If something goes wrong with your grow-op, you can't blame the people you bought the seeds from. I'll keep you guys posted with my progress. But I can assure everyone that this is a legitimate company and they have been more than fair to me.

Just want to give you guys an update. www.magicmushroomkit.ca is not a scam. When Covid first hit many months ago, I ordered a kit on their site. I guess everyone got the same idea and my kit took 3 weeks to get here, probably due to Canada Post overload due to Covid19. When I received the original Mega-You-Grow Magic Mushroom kit, it wasn't very fresh. I didn't have any time as I was expecting it to arrive earlier, I put the seeds in the fridge for a couple of weeks, the kit said use within one month or asap. So, this kit with the straw was a lot of work, the straw is bulky and you have to have a huge pot to boil all the straw in one shot. I got fungus gnats flying around in the dome, after 3 months of effort got nothing for my money and trouble. But wait, there's more, lol.

When I got in touch with them (www.magicmushroomkit.ca), they sent me a replacement kit, but they decided to send me the Coco Kit with four plastic containers instead of the original straw kit. As you can see from the pics, it worked out really well. It was much easier than the straw kit, this kit includes a five-gallon pale to mix it all up. You boil 4 liters of bottled water or I used my reverse osmosis filtered tap water, regular chlorinated tap water not recommended! Followed the instructions, added the Coco brick , the vermiculite, and the boiling water to the bucket, while the seeds waited in the fridge. Then, I put the lid on (provided) and mixed it up a bit, but it was really hot, so I waited until the next day for it to be cooled, then I shook the bucket really well. Then, I added the seeds from the fridge, mixed it all up again. Then I divided the contents of the bucket into the four plastic containers. I put the lids on the four containers (provided) and I put them in a dark closet for 15 days, never even looked at them. I have limited space, so I put two of the plastic containers in the bathroom under a light and switched the other two containers every 12 hours. Twelve hours of darkness, 12 hours of light. Oh yeah, before you put them in the light, you have to remove the lids from the plastic containers and put each one in a plastic bag and tie the top with a twist tie.

As you can see by the pics, it all worked out well. Had so many shrooms I wasn't sure what to do with them all, but since they are 90% water, they shrunk quite a bit when I dried them out, lol. I made some desiccant by cooking Epsom salt and adding it to the bottom of the air tight jars to store the shrooms long term after they were dried.

I can honestly say that www.magicmushroomkit.ca is not a scam and I highly recommend the Coco Kit, didn't care much for the straw kit. Check out the pics. Got 100's of shrooms out of it, lol.

Definitely not a scam!
