Hi people just a quick question, I am 2 weeks into flower and I took all of my plants out out the tent yesterday to cut any big leaves off and while I was putting them back in the top of one of my plants snapped and is hanging down, is there anything I can do about this? I will upload pic.
Any reply's will be appreciated, thanks

It should be ok if you tape it back up and brace it right away, I use plumbers tape.

We’ve all snapped a few branches here at RIU, just tape it and time will tell if it heals.

edit: added photos of my stem split for reference (tried to LST too much too quick)

You can locate the break point and use duct tape. Spray the steam a little but not too much because you don't want it to rot. I believe the quicker you do it the better. The cola in the center had a break it took almost a week to recover but it did and it's doing great.IMG_20210524_070759.jpg

Thanks for the reply, it happened yesterday morning and I am in work now I will be home at 6 so by the time I tape it it will be over 30 hours since it snapped and the leaves on it looked dead this morning before I left for work is there no way I could just cut the top part of plant off it it will grow back? Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply it snapped yesterday morning and I won't be able to put tape on it until tonight and the leaves at top of plant looked dead this morning before I left for work so do you think it is too late and if so can I just cut top of plant off and would it grow back? Thanks again

I had a second one snap and I did not fix it. Nothing grew back. When flowering they don't grow back unless it's really early into flower. You didn't have a full break so you can still try to fix her I think.

Yeah it pays to soften the stem a bit before you bend it. I use masking tape because it was all i had around one time and apparently the branches can grow inside of it and spread it out.

That looks dead if its wilted like that.
As long as you don't snap too much horizintally you're fine.
Here's an example to break my fat stems.
