I don't know how many gallons it is, it was just want I had in the house. The bottom is cut off the top pot and the soil goes all the way down.

That is what I transplanted it into. The pot it was in before, when it was given to me, was even smaller. I didn't have a big wide pot so I figured I stick two together because I'd read that roots travel down before they spread out. This was last Wednesday. Is it alright to transplant it again so soon?instead of cutting the bottom off or whatever why didn't transplant into a completely bigger pot
I will try and get one tomorrow. What size do you think I should get for this plant? It's a few days into 12/12. Not looking like I'm going to get a very good yield from it.That's a double decker! Yes, transplant to a bigger pot soon.
What you see above the soil is about what's going underneath. I'm sure the roots are wrapped around themselves and could really benefit from more soil.
I'd recommend using some scissors and cutting down the side. The two pots could be a nightmare when transplanting. Be gentle and try not to damage the roots too much.
Well considering how tall the pots are, it would need transplanted into something just as tall or taller. 3-5 gallon should do it.That is what I transplanted it into. What's your lights? Thanks for the help. I think the growth's already been stunted a lot but it seems I'm going to have to try and transplant it again asap
Sorry I replied above but didn't click "reply with quote"What's your lights?

100w is fine depending on the space it's in. Cfls don't yield much ull get maybe a half dryI keep reading that 100W is fine for a plant?
Got any idea of what I can expect from this plant come harvest?
Here's a shot of the cupboard I converted for it. Got the 125W red above under a reflective hood I got second hand. The bulb hanging done the side is the blue one that I just turn on for a few hours a day. I'm running on a next to nothing budget and have been keeping tracking of the electricity I'm spending (running on a keycard meter) and I can't afford to spend much more. Think if I got another red bulb and swapped it for the blue one it'd make all the difference? This is all just practise for when I start my first indoor grow proper. My goal is 1oz a month. Planning on doing this with perpetual autoflowers. Do you think this is possible with what I've got going? If not what am I lacking - just more light? Thanks everyone for the feedback100w is fine depending on the space it's in. Cfls don't yield much ull get maybe a half dry
Regardless, you have to stay in your budget. Even adding bulbs will increase your electric a little bit. And there's the cost of the bulbs / fixtures. Once you get through the first grow you will have an idea of what your operation will produce. But yes, more light equals more bud.I'm running on a next to nothing budget and have been keeping tracking of the electricity I'm spending (running on a keycard meter) and I can't afford to spend much more.
