Sorry for the shitty hps pics. had no choice.
This is my second run of the same batch of FFOF and this aint right. Been using this crap for years with the same strains and this shit is happening.... I know from experience that it will go away after a week or so of regular feeding but what is the cause of this ? It looks like an easy one to diagnose but its past me....

Only been in the fresh soil for a few weeks and i havent fed much. Last run , they all looked bad , this run a added more lime to the soil and only a couple look like this.

Thanks for any opinions or help!

were about 2 weeks after the flip.... i always go from solo cup to final pot, then flip. this time i vegged a bit longer but not much. the FFOF was already suspect so we ammended it real good with dolo lime before using it.
Last run with same batch of soil was real bad a week after repotting.... this one is only 2 or 3 plants looking like this. We did not add lime to last one....
These are under hps with led side lighting...... One single dose of veg food so far.

Whether its something i did wrong or the soil , i would still love to know this issue.

Have you checked closely for bugs? Looks similar to russet mites.
Thats the one answer i was scared to death of.....

I look for regular mites all the time an i see nothing. Im gonna have to read on russet mite to see.... Thank you sir!

You got me again sir! This is the second time i posted with problems of my own and you nailed it first try. Russet mites it is.....neeming has started. Not much else i can do at this point....im 3 weeks after the flip. i'll just treat the mommies and such to prevent further investation.

Thanks again @xtsho

Just to clear the air. It was NOT the FFOF that caused this....well maybe the bugs came from it but my lack of prevention was the actual cause of my problems.

A better option would have been to use citric acid rather than an oil in flower. Neem is fine during veg but should be stopped at flower.

Good luck.

Heat treatments work well to kill eggs. How hot can you get your grow room❓
hot enough to hurt the girls. Heat treatments work to kill anything living.

Im too far into flower to do anything. i might use a citrus acid or something but for the most part ill just leave um be....long as i prevent it from getting in there again , ill be happy.

I had um last run too ....somehow the plants grew out of it. I thought it was a soil/food issue , hopefully they grow out of it and if i keep the old prevention up then i will be fine. i fucked up and stopped with preventative measures for a few months after finally getting rid of mite. COMPLETELY my own fault.
