If you don’t mind checking pH and ppm everyday, then dwc is great. My only problem is when I have to go on a 5 day vacation, I can’t ask my mom to simply ‘water the plants’. I need a dang scientist to do the job.

May sound strange, but I miss it. Sure, I'm mixing nutes and Ph-ing with the coco but there are days where there's nothing to do. I feel like I'm neglecting my girls. Also I seem to be using a lot more nutrients in coco. I'm going to finish this run in coco, but I'm going to fire up 4 sites just for the new Hawaiian strains I just got. One sounds like a Hawaiian and Oklahoma cross(probably isn't, but I can enjoy my delusion) , "Pineapple Blue Pops" Pineapple surfer by Blue Tulsi Pops.

You're crazy!

I still have a stack of net pots and buckets collecting dust and have no plans to ever do DWC again. I love days when there is nothing to do with the plants which is all the time growing in coco with blumats or soil. With the blumats I go days without even looking at the plants and only need to fill the res once a week. With soil I just check them every couple days to see if they need water.

If you like DWC then you like DWC. As long as you get your weed grown it doesn't matter how you do it.

I really need to figure out what to do with these. They're taking up space I could use but I can't just throw them away.

I use custom bins so I can't even offer to take them off your hands. I was just talking with my wife about the Blumats. I think my girls have have given my obsessive disorder an anchor and if I can't find something to do for them I get twitchy. So i think the Blumats would have a counter effect for me.

I've thought about using an 18 gallon tote. Back when I was doing DWC I jumped in without much thought. Those 5 gallon buckets are just too small and have you fiddling around too much. I had ten of them and it was just too much work. Plants grew great though.

. How much gets flushed down the drain?
More into the yard and flower beds than drain, but for me to for me to water and feed 11 plants (5 in flower 6 In veg) I Toss about 4 gallons a day, that's a fresh DWC site equivalent dumped every day. Wasteful to me.
