Just moved to Portland...Anyone in PDX help me?

Hey everyone,

So I just moved to Portland recently and am trying to find a decent supply of medicine. I don't have a card yet because I don't have an Oregon drivers license or voter card.

I smoke for Crohn's disease and it works really well but I've been having trouble finding some around here. I've been feeling a little bit stressed lately so I haven't been feeling very well and all and it has been an uphill struggling trying to get someone to help me....

I know a post like this is probably frowned upon, I just don't have any options really this is basically just a last desperation attempt. I also know that it would probably be easier to acquire if I had a card, but that will require me to get an Oregon license first, so I'd have to wait for that to come...then I'd have to wait for my medical records and my appointment at the clinic. Then once I'm approved I'll have to wait for my card to come and then I can start my search for a grower....

I'm more than willing to go through the process...it just won't do me much good in the short term..I can't go that long without.

If anyone can help me it would be soo appreciated that I don't even have the words in my vocabulary to express it.

im sure theri is alot of dealers in the pdx just stand on the corner and you should find a dealler fairly easily. thats about it i dont think a card holder will supply a non card holder meds.

Dude, I'm pretty much in exact same boat. ANY HELP would be appreciated. Even just some hot spots where I could finds some old heads, I'll take it from there. All I've seen downtown are a bunch of young junksters (not hatin, been there). I'm 3 weeks fresh in town, & hurtin. Thanks in advance!

go to waterfront park. there are people sitting on the benches, you'll know them when you see them. try to make eye contact and if they return eye contact, make the universal motion for smoking a joint, maybe ask 'got nugs? got buds?'.

one of my favorite moves was walking by slowly smoking a cig. when someone asked to bum a smoke, i would say sure....and do you know where to get any buds? if they are not holding, they know who is holding.

you won't get ripped off on quality, but likely you will on quantity. you will always be able to get a look at the bag first, if you don't get a sneak peek....DON'T DO IT! i have gotten a bag of green stuff that looked a lot like weed but didn't get you high (only once out of the 20 or so times i did this).

be on the lookout for the bicycle cops that often ride by, maybe even offer to take your dealer to ymhill pub for a beer to do the transaction (on yamhill st between 3rd and 4th, dive bar with really cheap beer).

I feel for ya bro, been in that situation before. Would love to help as I'm near Portland, but I gotta agree with mcpurple that it would be extremely risky for a medical patient to do what you're asking, so you're gonna have to be a lil more creative. The good thing is, you're in a cool city that's new to you and prob gonna be shoppin for a few new friends. The best way to come across some would be to get out and explore the city, strike a convo with the many friendly people walking around (this is not new york), maybe hit a couple chill pubs, and you'd be suprised the variety of laid back people you'll find yourself talking to who smoke bud. I mean, it's PORTLAND haha.

You wanna know the BEST place I can tell you to go?

Voodoo Doughnuts is well-known nationwide for some of the country's best doughnuts. They have some crazy recipes, from the classic voodoo girl doughnut, to the cock n balls (giant bevarian creme in shape of...), bacon maple bar (my personal fav), and many others. There's 2 locations, but I say goto the downtown location on 4th or something (near burnside bridge). I can't say I've ever been there and NOT seen lots of young crowds with dredlocks and whatnot. Guaranteed over half the people in line are high off their ass haha, other half, tourists. Or goto the counter and order the 'burnin maple blunt' doughnut and give a wink to the cashier that you're looking for more than a doughnut n need to be pointed in the right direction!
