Hey all I'm new to the whole growing thing, but I love all the science and all the work that people have put towards this growing this plant ....I got a white widow seed from growerschoice seed bank . This is 8 days about to be lights off for 6 hours day number nine ... I gave nutrition the first couple days ..lesson learnt as you can see nitrogen burn I think on the non serrated leaf so emptied the bucket and ran just tap water with ph from 5.3 to 6.8 trying to keep clean water for my baby .. day 8 I just added half the amount of recommended to water ...sorry for jumping all over the place ..any who what's your thoughts ? Ps waiting for new led 1000wfull spectrum light and ppm meter to come 15864900381045034453115961052691.jpg

Just a word of warning ... 1000w "blurple" LEDs are more like 150-200w LEDs. The mfrs show the maximum wattage the led chips can handle, which is almost always far more than the actual power supply is putting out. That said, it looks like you have it very close to the seedling. Since your i it for the science as well as the canabis, you should consider getting a light meter. Ideally a quantum meter would be the best, but they're expensive. There are some inexpensive lumen meters that will at least give you some idea of what the plants are getting for light. You might go back to the site you bought the light and see if the have a par map that shows light intensity at various heights.

What temp has your res been without the chiller? Any problems?
It has been sitting at 73 I know that's to high but it's okay I had a brown algae problem due to my tap water and right nutes and water temp but it has gone away for about a week and I think it's starting to come back I need my ro system to get here sooner

Based on the label. it draws 165W at the wall */- 3%. They recommend 24" above the plant for normal growing and I suggest 36" above seedlings.
