Fox tailing. Omg, to a T! It’s been so humid. And yes, growing for forever. Like, come on.
They won't stop. Natures way of protecting themselves from rot and mildew will be that the resin will dry off and the flowers will separate to let air through (avoids rot). The only thing you can try is a portable aircon or pull them early. I've been growing indoors since the 80's. It's just farming. You have to take your cuttings and cuttings of cuttings during summer to wait it out that 6-8 weeks of OTT heat. I've tried everything from different tropical land race seeds to less light hours. It's a bitch. If someone else has a magical fix for this I'd love to know it. The only thing to do is outdoor if your summers are like ours with temps over 40C on some summer days. Indoors is a logistic pain in the arse during for the hottest 2 months. Good luck bro.

Can I ask where you are from? Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind words.

I come from the land down under. Aussie. Down at the bottom end. I find my bumper grows are having the lights on at night when it gets bloody cold and the daytime is around 12-15C. I've tried portable air-conditioning during summer with a bit of success. The only problem is the lowest the things will go is 16 or 17C on the dial. For great results I think I need nearly a freezer unit. God knows how much the power bill would be.

I tried Malawi and a few other hot area strains but usually where those grow well it's desert nearby and the temperature gets low at night. The warm nights screws with them. You still get a nice product but nowhere near the yield advertised

I knew it! I just love Aussies! ❤❤❤❤❤
Even my 11 year old is taking it upon herself to learn about different ways that you all say things versus how we say them here, in the US.

You're wrong about what caused my buds to foxtail humidity never broke 40. I think it was due to too much light as I was running a 1000watt De bulb about two feet from the top on a light rail.

That'll do it too. Though in summer the plants can feel the barometric rise and fall of pressures. Even after 30+ years of indoor each summer seems to produce its new hiccups. My problem is that over our back fence is a walkway. About 10 years back I did a nice outdoor of bubblegum. One day a friend dropped in and mentioned he could smell it about 200 metres away. That was around late autumn. As we here in Australia call Easter "Hippy Christmas". I put a Peyote Critical in last summer but had to pull it a little early because of the stink. Not worth getting a knock at the door.

Yep. I've thought that too. Inside a garage is a real shit to grow in summer. The best place I ever grew in was an old 6mm thick corrugated asbestos garage in an old run down place. It must have been built sometime in the 50's or 60's. That asbestos kept it so cool in summer though. I was pulling 3 pound yields every 60 days. The house was a shithole but I'd give my left ball for that shed again. If you have the money. Build a stand alone shed out of 7mm-10mm cement sheet. Not sure if you can get the corrugated type cement sheet for the roof but it worked like a cool room. I've tried using 50mm compacted cool room panels in the garage and built a room instead of a tent. That was a tiny bit better but unless you get rid of the tin/galvanised iron roof heat in summer is always going to be a bitch. That was from 2002-2008. I've yet to get another all year round consistent grow area. I still believe it has a lot to do with earth's rotation and barometric pressures. We're only here for a mouse fart in a hurricane. These plants have been around for 100's of thousands of years and they are probably more in tune with nature than we are. Very very hard to derail and coordinate perfect growing conditions 12 months of the year unless you spend a truckload of $$$

Did you try backing off on the hours or adding a potentiometer to regulate the light. I've tried both and had only mild success. I'm been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Just swapped to a viparspectra xs4000. Early days yet but a few of the mixed seeds I put in are showing really nice results. They've just started creaming up (as I call it coz they're girls) and gelling up the lower parts of the shade leaves. All white hairs still. Put in about 8-10 different strains to SOG. Marked them all by number and took around 6 clones off each. Will update with pix. If it works well I'll invest in a few more LED panels. It's mid winter here and I have a little 2400watt heater to keep the tent at 26C. Surprisingly it isn't using all that much power. Comes on for about 2 minutes every 15.
