Just sharing a couple of pics of my first coco grow. It is super skunk and is week 7 of flower. I think she is coming along nicely but wanted some other feedback. I normally grow dwc but thought I would try coco and must say I am loving the results. Thanks for any replies. Happy growing to everyone.

Thanks for the reply. I I use GH nutes. I use the professional line and they are fed 3 times daily at around 950 ppm. They do have a few burnt tips but it is minimal. Happy Growing.

Looks perfectly fine to me man, only thing I see is you have some stretch. I would keep your lights a few inches close to eliminate that and let your nodes stack closer. But looking good, congrats!

Thanks everyone for the replies. They are much appreciated. I use 2 electric sky 180s for top lighting and I have a pair of viparspectra xs1000 that I use on the sides. I thought I would try lights on side because I have a friend that swears by it. I think it helps.

MAy have to learn to grow in coco
I am a pretty new grower, having grown only 5 times, all in DWC. I am in my first coco grow now, starting week 3 of flower. So far, the base stalk and branches on my plants are significantly thicker than they ever were in DWC and the the plants were way more robust during veg.

I am also using a lot more nutes. I treated about 7 gallons of water weekly for two plants in DWC. Twice that much with coco grow. It's also a little more trouble. With DWC I mixed nutes once a week and pretty much just had to control my pH from there. Now I am mixing nutes and feeding daily. It takes more time and effort, but I enjoy it. So, if the plants produce mo bettah with the coco I will prolly stick with it.

I feel the same. I just had to cut my last DWC (Male) but my coco girls are using a lot more nutes.

Or you could do this and empty runoff once a day and feed as many times as you like?
